Holiday Inn Resort at Eagle Creek is a wonderful location. The hotel is a bit long in the tooth and in need of refurbishing-although our bathroom had been upgraded and was excellent.
area was substandard. Didn't even want to venture in. Fortunately, excellent restaraunts are a short walk and part of the Eagle Crest complex.
The staff was inconsistent. One young staffer named Joe was the epitome of a polite and helpful desk person. Most of the staff were also good, but my check in person was not pleasant, and I suppose I was not that gracious myself in reaction to her poor manners, but I tried to just go with her without comment.
The area is exceptionally beautiful, and the residential development seems sensitive to the environment, although I am always a little concerned with lush urban areas gushing with water in a desert scene. You wonder if the water use is a fair use when compared to other needs in the environment. However, on a one day stay, I didn't have time to pursue the question to an answer. [Less]
