Everything was excellent in every way except the thermostat can be lowered to only 68 degrees. In the winter time, I want a temperature between 60 - 64 at night. The experts on sleep tell us sleeping
cooler is a benefit to feeling more rested in the morning, and I support this claim.
So, I want to sleep comfortably and at the same time save the hotel heating costs (it is mid February), and help reduce my carbon footprint, and someone in some Holiday Inn office personally thinks that anything less than 68 degrees must be too cold. WRONG. I am starting to get perturbed over hotels thinking they know the temperatures I prefer. I want to choose the temperature of my room.
On the VERY positive side, the fan can be set to "ON" overnight, which is very helpful in masking background noise, Many hotels, some Holiday Inns included, are preventing the "On" function, causing one to be awaken by slamming doors, people talking, and children screaming and running down the hallway. So, big plus here. Thank you for the fan "On" function!
So, minus one star for severely limiting the cool temperatures I prefer during the wintertime. [Less]
