Featured Seattle Hotels

A very brief summary of Seattle's history might read: Gold Rush, Great Fire, World's Fair, Boeing opens and Microsoft is born. These events were critical development points, and having Puget Sound and one of the country's busiest seaports are other important factors that have defined the city, but Seattle is more than just a thriving tech city. It is a progressive place with incredible natural splendors, a well-defined sense of social consciousness, amazing coffee and much more. Best of all, Seattle hotels roll out the red carpet for guests.
Things to See
Constructed for the 1962 World's Fair and perhaps the ultimate Seattle attraction, Seattle Center is home to the Chihuly Glass Exhibit, the Space Needle, the Pacific Science Center and the McCaw Hall performing arts venue.
Don't miss Fremont, possibly the most eclectic neighborhood in America, and pay customary homage to the famous Troll Under the Bridge sculpture, browse a diverse collection of shops and dine on some of the country’s best Thai food. Also explore Seattle's bustling waterfront and its giant Ferris wheel, fresh oysters, and fragrant fish and chips.
While Starbucks is the city’s most famous coffee export, committed locals say the best java experiences are found in Seattle’s indie shops and local chains. Coffee tastings, known as cuppings, mimic the pomp and ritual of wine tastings, and independent coffee shops compete year-round trying to create the ultimate artisanal blend. You need only see the exquisite latte art, a skill baristas work diligently to perfect, to understand the richness of Seattle’s
die-hard coffee culture.
Hotels in Seattle
Seattle hotels offer varying services and amenities to meet your needs. Business travelers have several choices for centrally located meetings and conferences, couples have various options for a romantic getaway, and plenty more hotels cater specifically to spa enthusiasts, shopaholics and visitors exploring the region's renowned wineries.
Where to Stay
Downtown Seattle is the busiest district, home to many fine hotels and the city's main shopping district. Belltown has lots of swanky restaurants and trendy bars, while the Eastside features more upscale boutiques and a world-class dining scene.
The gems in Seattle's crown, however, are the Puget Sound islands. Whidbey, Vashon and Bainbridge islands are home to classic B&Bs, fashionable farm-to-table restaurants, famed Penn Cove mussels and abundant natural attractions.
How to Get to Seattle
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is located in SeaTac—a 10-square-mile town whose name combines the first syllables in Seattle and Tacoma—just 12 miles south of downtown. It is an international gateway to Asia and Europe, and gives travelers access to public ground transportation via the King County Metro bus system and Sound Transit regional express buses.

The good and the bad

'View room' Very spacious room with view of needle and quiet. Regatta Bar: such good service from Sci that we went back for a second nights dinner. Very dissappointed with service on an after stay [More] problem [Less]
Sweet complimentary for our anniversary.
By yamajava
We celebrated our anniversary three years at Crown Plaza. Their GM Christy was very nice and thoughtful by providing a beautiful and delicious dessert and champagne. It has become our tradition to do [More] that every year. [Less]
Great service, comfortable room, beds
By shasand
Overall, our experience with this hotel was very good. Initially, we were assigned a room across from an elevator. I requested a room away from elevators and they immediately accommodated my [More] request. Our room was well-sized, very clean and well organized. Beds and bedding were very comfortable, as well as the pillows. The TV was large and modern. The bathroom was bright, modern, and clean. I appreciated the wall-mounted swivel mirror next to the bathroom sink, for applying makeup. We used the gym both days and found it to be well equipped and organized. The only improvement the gym could have used is a fan in each of the rooms. The concierge helped us decide upon which activities we could do in Seattle over our 2 day stay, and she booked all of our reservations for us, which was super helpful. Overall, a positive experience. [Less]
Good mattress Serta

Slept very well on this mattress, food was good in breakfast area, swim pool was a small one, but at least there was a pool. [Less]
Affordable room for downtown Seattle
By Jwez
The hotel is within walking distance to the Space Needle and the monorail can bring you down to Pikes Market and the waterfront. The room was clean except for an obvious stain on the carpet that [More] seems like it should have been steamed out and the bathroom was clean but showing its age. We were able to have access to the parking garage before we checked in so we could leave our car for the day. Pool was clean and warm but the pool deck could use an upgrade of furniture and a closer eye kept on the availability of dry towels. Breakfast was good- liked the automatic pancake maker. Overall good room for a good price compared to most other Seattle hotels. [Less]
Great hotel
By Fireman
Great service with smiling faces welcomed us to the Holiday Inn Express. [Less]
