This is the 3rd time I stayed here and whilst the staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is clean and comfortable, I have experienced problems each time, mainly in connection with my IHG Spire
On my first visit, I emailed the hotel to say my arrival would be delayed 24 hours due to a flight cancellation. I did not even get an acknowledgement (it was later confirmed that my email had been received). On arrival, I found my reservation had been cancelled! I was told that I was not a Spire Elite member but just a basic member, despite my membership card!!! I did stay for 2 nights but then had to raise a complaint to get my IHG reward points.
On my next visit there was an attempt to charge me extra for a second guest, despite the reservation being for two people!
On this last visit, despite the reservation being made via IHG with a loyalty point estimation with the confirmation, I did not receive the loyalty points and my IHG account states “non-qualifying stay”! Further, I was promised my invoice would be emailed to me, I’m still waiting! [Less]
