I am from Sudbury originally but have been living in Toronto and I never had the opportunity to stay at this hotel until recently when I attended a 2-day law conference at the Holiday Inn and stayed
there with my colleagues. First, I was really impressed at how clean the hotel was, which is the first thing that I look for in a hotel. Very nicely updated and modern. The hotel itself is quite big and has a lot of amenities. The rooms were very impressive, the beds and the really soft bed sheets were the most comfortable that I've slept on. I was envious about the bathrooms and got some really great design ideas for my own bathrooms at home.
The front desk staff was outstanding and so friendly and accommodating. On my last day of the conference, I was having a terrible migraine, I checked out but left things, including my laptop in my hotel room, and I also needed some toiletries and personal care products that I had forgot to pack. An employee that worked at the front desk named Debbie was amazing! She got the things that I forgot from my room and the cleaning staff delivered to me right away, and she also made sure that I was well taken care of. Because of her I got rid of my migraine and all my needs were met. I would have suffered through a long day of conferences if it weren't for her. Debbie is amazing! Hang on to her because she is exactly the kind of person that you want greeting you and making sure your stay is a great one. (I am not affiliated with Holiday Inn and not paid to write this review).
