Check into a Holiday Inn® Montreal hotel and you'll find yourself at the heart of this elegant island city. Our Montreal hotels are close to the port area, known as Old Montreal, where you can wander among the cobbled streets and beautifully preserved buildings. This is where Montreal made its mark as a fur trading post in the 17th century. Today it's the cultural quarter, home to cool cafés, hip bars and the lively arts scene.
Our Holiday Inn Montreal hotels boast great locations in the Downtown area. Wander along the Rue Ste.Catherine through Downtown and you'll find yourself in the lively Latin Quarter. You'll also want to visit Mont Royal, the mountain in the middle of the island from where Montreal gets its name. Visit the Parc du Mont Royal for a great view of the city.
A fun way to get around is by bike. There are hundreds of kilometres of bike paths - try the route along the Lachine Canal. The reception staff at your Holiday Inn Montreal hotel will have details of bike rental shops.
Children, always welcome at our Holiday Inn Montreal hotels, will love the nearby islands of Ile Ste-Helene and Ile Notre-Dame. Here you'll find a swimming lake, complete with its own beach, a network of canals navigable by pedal boat and Quebec's biggest theme park, La Ronde, which has the highest double wooden roller coaster in the world. The islands are easy to access by metro from our Montreal hotels.
Came to town for the Canadian National Rock Climbing competition. As an IHG member this was the closest location I found to the facility. Our stay was very enjoyable and would recommend staying here[More] if in the area. Good food, great staff.[Less]
Excellent HWY. Access.
Could of had an ice maker on second floor.[Less]
Business and Leisure
Very comfortable and brand new Mattress, nice modern room, very clean. We loved the breakfast because of the veriety of the choice and the fact that we weren't served the same thing every morning.[Less]
Comfortable, Clean and Beautiful
This hotel stands out from other hotels I have recently visited. It is in a very nice location, walking distance to the market and part of underground shopping area.
The hotel is beautiful from[More] inside and out. The room is clean and comfortable.
I would recommend this hotel 100%.
The only thing I would say negative is the breakfast offering. It is not worth the cost.[Less]
An Once Grand Hotel that Requires Facelift
Intercontinental is a prestigious brand name. This one in Montreal keeps the image but the decor is very outdated and some serious renovations are needed. The ambient lighting is too dark and this[More] is made worse by the dark colored wood panels and furniture. The sink in my room was not draining. Though they fixed it, it only worked for a little while and blocked again. That is why I say renovaton is needed.
The customer service is superb. Keep it up.[Less]
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Intercontinental. Montreal. The staff were very friendly and courteous, and the facilities/amenities first class.[Less]
Location was great. Room was comfortable. Check-in and out were quick and easy. However, it was not the cleanest. There were some rotting food in the sink.[Less]

lots of space,
very handy for airport bus, walking to old port and downtown,
The room is so convenient
I love the room because I can prepare my snacks and breakfast in the room and I don't need to use paper plates or cups. The dishwashing machine is very convenient.[Less]
