Overall the hotel is very nice. I spend 100 nights a year in Holiday Inns all over the world and this one is very good. Except for the staff who checked me in.
At check in the lady who I was
dealing with was adamant I had booked one room, but her system was saying two. I politely informed her I only need one. She kept saying I must pay for 2 because that's what the computer said. I showed her my list of reservations on my iPhone on the priority club clearly showing I had 1 room. But she persisted on saying I had booked two and was getting rather rude about it.
I'm not one to cause a scence so I just said I'm paying for one or I'm leaving, she even had the audacity to say she shouldnt do it but would let me off. Let me off what!!!!???
Anyway, the reservation staff might want to have some training and might be taught the old adage that the customer is always right, especially when the reservation is showing on their phone!!
Nice hotel, nice rooms, nice bar just can't say the same about the young bulldog on the front desk. [Less]
