Location - The hotel is located on Tverskaya and is on the same road which leads you straight to the Red Square (30-min walk). Just 2 blocks away is the iconic Café Pushkin which I will
highly recommend for the fantastic food and service.
Staff - While some might not speak English very well, they always try by calling back with someone who does so that they understand your requests. This is commendable. Concierge (especially Artyom) is excellent with recommendations tailored to your tastes and always eager to check in with you about whether you enjoyed their recommendations. One of the best concierge service I've experienced!
Status benefits - Rather light on the benefits considering that I am Spire Ambassador after all. A little more would definitely have made me feel like a more valued loyal IHG guest.
Minimal facilities - This hotel has basically only a restaurant, a lobby lounge and a spa. A little short on dining options in this case but I will mention that room service menu is pretty extensive and great food.
Housekeeping - Unfortunately rather erratic. Some days I return to my room with my pillows on the couch or on the windowsill. The tea cups were not cleaned one day and some days bottle water are not replenished. The bathroom and bed were cleaned properly though so it's not a complete miss on this front.
All that said, will likely return to this hotel if I visit Moscow again and hope to have some improvements on the points raised here. Thank you to the staff for making this stay memorable! [Less]
