Featured Aylesbury Hotels

Book a stay at our Holiday Inn® Aylesbury hotels and discover the thriving modern pulse of this historic market town and country seat of Buckinghamshire. Within minutes you will be admiring palatial manor homes or exploring a network of mysterious underground tunnels and alcoves.

Settle into our hotels in Aylesbury and start exploring Buckinghamshire's variety of historic attractions. Just minutes away is West Wycombe Park, the famous former home of the libertine Sir Francis Dashwood. In addition to the magnificent Palladian manor, the grounds contain the hand-carved Hellfire Caves, which were built in the 1740s as an atmospheric clubhouse for Dashwood and his high-profile friends, including Benjamin Franklin. To the west of our Aylesbury hotels is the neo-Renaissance grandiosity of Waddesdon Manor. Built on a bluff overlooking the surrounding countryside, the ornate towers and highly landscaped grounds at Waddesdon were modeled after the grand chateaux of France. Waddeson is the National Trust's second-most visited property.

Stay in our Aylesbury hotels and be close to the Waterside Theatre, in the compact center of town, where most of the town's restaurants and pubs are also located. Outside of Aylesbury, head out on the Roald Dahl Trail to visit sites where the famous children's author lived and worked, and some that were featured in his unique tales. All over the region you'll find welcoming pubs in which to warm yourself after a chilly stroll or sun-filled beer gardens to relax in during balmy summer days.

Book a room in our Holiday Inn Aylesbury hotels in July for the Roald Dahl Festival, when a parade of Dahl characters marches in the Aylesbury town center, or around Christmas, when Waddeston Manor takes on a festive look with brightly illuminated Christmas trees.

Great stay!
By Jordy1996
With the fact the hotel is opposite Luton Airport, i couldn't of had a much quieter night sleep. Arrived at the hotel around 4pm. Andrea certainly gave a warm welcome, being recognized as a member of [More] the IHG rewards club and especially offering me a CLUB chocolate bar, with is a FAB idea!! I work at the Holiday Inn express Exeter and I may have to steal the idea myself. Evening food was perfect, Breakfast great as well, would defiantly stay again sometime in the future. Cheers guys!! 10/10! [Less]

Excellent before an early flight
By AllThatJazz
Beautiful room to rest before an early flight. Comfortable bed, clean sheets and bathroom. Needs a mini-bar (or more tea options) and toiletries supplies should include toothpaste. [Less]
Hotel Access and breakfast
By MikeC
The walk from the bus stop to the hotels reception is difficult. You have to cross two busy lanes and no Zebra crossing. Then you have a long climb, past the the hotel and back through the [More] carpark. Breakfast: there were two drinks machines but so placed, together, that if one was in use the other was not accessible. The hot food selection was poor; old scrambled egg and no bacon, an over flowing container of baked beans. This was the poorest breakfast offering I have ever had at the hotel. [Less]

Great location, helpful staff and lovely and spaces refurbished room
By Janstar67
We stayed for our daughter's Birthday. We've stayed here before and the location is great, next to the train station and 20 mins to London. Staff were helpful and courteous on arrival especially with [More] parking and the room was a refurbished one and quite spacious with a decent size bed for our teenager. Breakfast was hot and fresh and there was plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend. [Less]
Great place to stay and good value
By Hazel7000
We stayed here overnight after visiting the Warner Brothers Harry Potter studio tour. The room was lovely and clean, with excellent shower room and our extra sofa bed made up for our son. I liked [More] that you could order an evening meal at the Hotel without needing to go out and the choice and quality of food was of a good standard. Staff were relaxed, friendly and helpful and I have no criticisms whatsoever. My only comment for possible improvement would be a few extra tea bags in the room and a clear sign in the room with instructions in the event of a fire (we always check Fire Escape instructions on arrival!) The Hotel is only about 3 minutes walk from Watford Gap station, which is partly why we chose it. It may not look like it's in a very glamorous location but once inside everything is very nice.
