We were disappointed to be charged £5.00 to park our car. There was no mention of this on the booking form, if there was we did not notice it. Suggest the cost of parking the car should be included [More] in the initial quote for the room! It wouldn't have stopped us using this hotel but would have been nice to know the the actual cost of our stay would cost more. [Less]

Ideal for short break

I booked this hotel on the spur of the moment having previously stayed in a local Holiday Inn for business purposes. This was in an ideal location as there was ample parking and it was a short walk [More] into the town centre. The room was comfortable and clean, Wi-Fi was reliable and breakfast was fair. Staff were friendly and efficient, I just wish they would smile more and speak a bit more slowly when you've travelled a long distance to get there! I would stay there again. [Less]

The hotel was a fabulous place to stay with links to the motorway. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The rooms were really comfortable as was the bar and the resturant. We booked DBB and the carvery evening meal was of great value. The qualitity of the food and it presentation was a real credit to the hotel. Likewise breakfast had everything you could ask for. We arrived to a good welcome recognised by the catering Manager and greeted well. Did not flash my gold card so not given the options of IHG club. (My fault should be more pushy) Great Galla dinner [More] and a leisurely stay. Breakfast was good and ample parking. Overall a good venue. [Less]
