Featured Glasgow Hotels

It may be Scotland's second city, but stay in one of our Holiday Inn® Glasgow hotels and you'll soon see why Glaswegians are so fiercely proud of their city. It's a wonderful mix of Victorian architecture, juxtaposed with contemporary style, brought alive by a sense of vibrancy and excitement seldom seen elsewhere.

A former European City of Culture, Glasgow certainly knows how to live up to the title. Offering more than 20 museums and galleries, plenty of green spaces, and striking buildings, you won't have to wander far from your Glasgow hotel to find a gem or two. Glasgow's Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum for example - which houses some of the most important art and artefacts in Scotland.

Unlike the neighbouring capital Edinburgh, Glasgow has more of an edge. It's easy to enjoy both cities from one base (they're only one hour apart), and a hotel in Glasgow opens the door to unique diversions. 'Old firm' footballing rivalry between Celtic and Rangers. The 'Golden Z' - with its miles of pure shopping heaven. The Arches' live music and The Strand's comedy shows, or some traditional bar hopping and night clubbing - all exciting possibilities.

Check in to one of our hotels in Glasgow and experience this unique city soon.

Excellent bed and breakfast stay

The comfortable room was compact but so well-designed that it seemed quite spacious. The staff members of all types were very pleasant, courteous and helpful. [Less]
Great stay
By Homechild
Comfy beds, great pillows, friendly and helpful staff. Only gripe would be the selection of hot food for breakfast. What was there was hot and tasty but would've liked more choices (mushrooms, hash [More] browns, black pudding, tomato, etc). All in all I would recommend and would return. [Less]

Comfortable and convenient

There is a very good quality and variety for breakfast. Whilst the the public areas are clean and fairly comfortable, we missed the luxury of the large soft sofas that used to be in the bar lounge. [Less]

Friendly staff, great location
By DezAU89
I mostly enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Theatreland. The staff were quite helpful and cheerful in both the reception and restaurant. Unfortunately, I had a street side room, it was very loud and the [More] shrill of police sirens woke me up from my sleep most nights. There was also a lot of internal pipe noise (i'm assuming). The bed was comfortable and the room was quaint, modern and cozy. [Less]
Late Arrival - Late Check Out

I used HIE Glasgow Airport on this occasion due to convenience as had a 3am flight arrival and chose to stay before further travel. Also hotel offered on-site car parking which suited needs of my [More] trip. The booking process was quick and the operator understood clearly my request. Check in was quick and efficient as was check out. The room was ideal and overall the time in hotel albeit short was a good experience [Less]
After flight stay

Perfect stay after a late flight, we used the 8 day park and stay option. Dropping the car off is so simple and you can walk to the terminal, no need for transfers. When we can back from the airport [More] it was an easy and simple check in and a good nights sleep ready to drive home the next day. [Less]
