Featured Glasgow Hotels

It may be Scotland's second city, but stay in one of our Holiday Inn® Glasgow hotels and you'll soon see why Glaswegians are so fiercely proud of their city. It's a wonderful mix of Victorian architecture, juxtaposed with contemporary style, brought alive by a sense of vibrancy and excitement seldom seen elsewhere.

A former European City of Culture, Glasgow certainly knows how to live up to the title. Offering more than 20 museums and galleries, plenty of green spaces, and striking buildings, you won't have to wander far from your Glasgow hotel to find a gem or two. Glasgow's Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum for example - which houses some of the most important art and artefacts in Scotland.

Unlike the neighbouring capital Edinburgh, Glasgow has more of an edge. It's easy to enjoy both cities from one base (they're only one hour apart), and a hotel in Glasgow opens the door to unique diversions. 'Old firm' footballing rivalry between Celtic and Rangers. The 'Golden Z' - with its miles of pure shopping heaven. The Arches' live music and The Strand's comedy shows, or some traditional bar hopping and night clubbing - all exciting possibilities.

Check in to one of our hotels in Glasgow and experience this unique city soon.

From start to finish my stay at the holiday inn was excellent, arrived on early flight was able to check in early which was great, even got a late check out as we had an early competition and I could [More] concentrate on my daughter without worrying about checking out. We had very relaxing evening on the bar one of the evenings and great nights sleep in the very comfortable beds, no noise in corridor. Overall a great experience and have recommended it to other people traveling to glasgow. I stayed in glasgow in april and was sorry I didn't book holiday inn, it was so close to all amenities. Im returning to glasgow in October and have already booked my stay at the holiday inn. Thank you for a lovely stress free stay. [Less]

Great stay

Another of my occasional visits to this hotel, my first choice whenever I'm working in Glasgow City Centre. Executive room was very nice, my first time in one since the recent refurbishment, with [More] my only criticism being the lack of desk lamp and a fairly low wattage bulb in the nearby floor lamp that made that part of the room a bit dingy for working at the desk. Otherwise everything was great, including food and all the staff I encountered, and I look forward to returning here again at some point. [Less]

Excellent for families
By Saskia18
Have visited this hotel several times and it is always a relaxing experience, in spite of travelling with 2 young children! The family room was huge and well laid out. The bathroom had been [More] refurbished and was high quality, with both a spacious, comfortable bath and a separate shower cubicle. The swimming pool and spa areas were very relaxing. The pool was warm and the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were comfortably hot. Breakfast was very busy, as everyone seemed to have arrived at once. However, the staff coped well and remained cheerful and helpful. There was a wide selection of food available. Food was very tasty. [Less]
Little treasure in East Kilbride
By Scotcan
What a nice surprise to have experienced such professional and engaging staff. No matter the time of day or area of the Hotel the staff were on hand to enhance your stay. The facilities are clean and [More] inviting so you feel relaxed from the minute you arrive. This is definitely a Hotel with staff who all seem to be great brand ambassadors. [Less]
