Featured Glasgow Hotels

It may be Scotland's second city, but stay in one of our Holiday Inn® Glasgow hotels and you'll soon see why Glaswegians are so fiercely proud of their city. It's a wonderful mix of Victorian architecture, juxtaposed with contemporary style, brought alive by a sense of vibrancy and excitement seldom seen elsewhere.

A former European City of Culture, Glasgow certainly knows how to live up to the title. Offering more than 20 museums and galleries, plenty of green spaces, and striking buildings, you won't have to wander far from your Glasgow hotel to find a gem or two. Glasgow's Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum for example - which houses some of the most important art and artefacts in Scotland.

Unlike the neighbouring capital Edinburgh, Glasgow has more of an edge. It's easy to enjoy both cities from one base (they're only one hour apart), and a hotel in Glasgow opens the door to unique diversions. 'Old firm' footballing rivalry between Celtic and Rangers. The 'Golden Z' - with its miles of pure shopping heaven. The Arches' live music and The Strand's comedy shows, or some traditional bar hopping and night clubbing - all exciting possibilities.

Check in to one of our hotels in Glasgow and experience this unique city soon.

Exactly what I would expect

Easter Break at a Great Hotel
By adz2042
Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows, duvet was thick and the room had plenty of power sockets. Didn't care much for the view as I went solely for an event, so only slept for a few [More] hours. Breakfast was great (had Weetabix and Orange Juice), although the juice could have been fresher (not watered down). Staff made it easy to check in and out, and proximity to shops and town centre were great. Disney store is 2 mins walk away in St.Enoch shopping centre, and the Hard Rock / Lego Store is in the main one near the Bus Station. Free wifi in the hotel, as well as throughout Glasgow City Centre, so easy to upload pictures and watch video. Cost of room was good, especially for Easter Sunday. Worth staying here if you get a chance. [Less]

Overall this was a fantastic, relaxing stay at an excellent hotel. Every aspect of my stay from speaking to staff at reception, the standard of the room to the food at the restaurant was excellent. [More] All staff were courteous and professional throughout and it's obvious that training in customer service has been ongoing at this hotel. A very enjoyable stay. [Less]

The hotel and rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are very nice and nothing ever seems to be a problem. The pool and sauna facility's are a nice bonus, breakfast has a lovely large [More] choice. Unfortunately the doors to the rooms slam really load and some people are not very courteous be prepared to be woken very early. Overall a very nice hotel though [Less]

Rooms and guest service
By Lorr44
The whole atmosphere in the hotel was fabulous . Good food value for money and reasonably priced. I was a bit disappointed in the room I went to make myself a cup of tea and the tray the accessories [More] were on was dusty as was one side of the kettle. The glass units the TV was on and the unit with the big mirror were slightly dusty and I was able to run my finger along them. Overall I enjoyed my experience and this will not put me off returning for another visit. [Less]
