Wedding Weekend
By Arlene M
From Start to finish the Greeting by check in staff was quick ,friendly and efficient.. Our room was fantastic.. comfortable and a view overlooking the docks was lovely. The Club lounge was quite [More] a small place but the selection of Canapes were delicious!! As we only stayed for one night we did not have time to use the swimming pool or Spa .. but it all looked very inviting. All in All we do love Liverpool and will be going back at some point in the near future and I will be looking to stay at this hotel again. [Less]
What counts most is the response if something goes awry

I stayed here at the end of last month and there was a small problem with details of the booking. All has gone smoothly and well when I have stayed previously, but the response when there is some [More] kind of issue tells you more about the quality of the customer care. The professional manner in which this was dealt with and corrected was impressive. The hotel itself is in a great setting overlooking the Mersey, comfortable room and bed (although you can't open the windows) and a real bonus is the full gym and swimming pool (approx 20m) which is inclusive in the room charge for guests. Meals were good and there is a Starbucks in situ. About 10 minutes' walk to Albert Dock with all the attractions and restaurants. [Less]

What You Expect From a Holiday Inn
This hotel does everything pretty well, as you would expect from a Holiday Inn, without anything (with the possible exception of Breakfast) being outstanding. Rooms are decent, there is a gym, a bar [More] and a restaurant that are all good enough. Its a good location for Liverpool. Breakfast is excellent! [Less]
“Perfect hotel - perfect location”
By grolly
I stayed here for one night on a business trip. I chose it for its nearness to Lime Street Station, and then on price. The outside is so unprepossessing that, even though I have lived in the city, I [More] had no idea it was there. Inside the lobby was attractive and the receptionist was both charming and helpful. The high speed lift had me on the ninth floor almost before I pressed the button. The room was absolutely fine, massive comfortable bed, plenty of lights, dressing table/desk, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, very nice bathroom - but the view! I could see clear over to Wales in the distance and in the foreground was the magnificent St George's Hall in all its glory. I was surprised that there was a restaurant in the hotel where dinner was served until eleven. I was seated by a window with another amazing view, the food was delicious, the service was second to none and the price and the price extremely reasonable, less than thirty pounds for three courses, with wine and coffee. Overall I couldn't rate this hotel too highly on every possible count. Oh - and the internet was free. [Less]
Comfortable hotel, lovely setting - recommended
By rhianw
I had a one night stay after an afternoon of shopping at Cheshire Oaks (5 minute drive) and before an early Manchester Airport flight (30 minute drive). The hotel was perfect, really. Lovely setting [More] in the quay, with lots of nice river-side walks (I took one in the evening and one in the morning). The room was as you'd expect from a Holiday Inn - i.e. everything was provided, the room was comfortable and to standard, and everything was clean. The breakfast was perfectly fine as it was included in my room rate, however I wouldn't have paid for it otherwise. This tends to go for all hotels, though! All in all, the setting is lovely, the gym and pool looked good even if I didn't get the chance to use them, and I'd definitely stay here again if I needed to fly from Manchester the following day. Chester Break
By JohnC18
2 night stay for family of 5, to visit both Chester and Cheshire Oaks outlet village. Could not compliment the staff enough, nothing was too much trouble and all had a friendly, positive [More] attitude. Kids loved the use of the pool. [Less]
Great stay
By suziepnz
The setting of the hotel was great with the canals, locks and lovely views from the room. The room was massive and comfy and also good to work from with a comfy desk chair. Breakfast was lovely and [More] enjoyed the nice views outside from the restaurant. Staff were excellent and were friendly yet very professional at all times. Enjoyed the pool and sauna as well, nice to have those facilities [Less]
