I've stayed at HIE's all over the country, and other hotels in other chains, as well is Indigo's in this chain.
This is a well-run property, new, and very comfortable. It's location is convenient
to the freeway for a stopover night/rest, which is why we used it. It's not very close to attractions, but it's close to Birmingham, AL, in some ways.
Located in a beautiful mountain/hills view setting, it has the feel of a modern oasis and a retreat. There's a nice restaurant, that we didn't have a chance to try, on site, which seemed very welcoming. I'd like to stay again and try it next time. I liked the area and the staff and other guests were very friendly.
Compared to the other HIE, I was very pleased with comfort, cleanliness, newness, and freshness. It was much more luxurious in linens, bedding, towels, and overall comfort than the other hotels. The staff seem better trained to all do their jobs correctly and with kindness. True Southern Hospitality! Very impressed! [Less]
