The experience started out like a bit of a nightmare. I called and spoke with a female who is a part of the front desk team. She misinformed me by suggesting that it is possible to hold a room and be
called in case it may be booked. I told her I needed to check with a family member (who I would be staying with) about the pricing and that I would get back to her promptly. Doing so within 30 minutes, I was told that "unfortunately, the room has been reserved and it was the only one remaining." As you can imagine, I was semi-livid.
I called back and got someone else on the line. I expressed my frustrations to this gentleman. To my surprise, he not only found a room for me but treated me with excellent understanding and consideration. His customer service skills were far and away better than those of the female I dealt with before him.
In any case, I had stayed at this hotel previously so I had an idea of what to expect. Everything, for the most part, was fine. The exception was the fact that there seemed to be dried ej4culate (disgusting, I know) on the desk in the living room area. I noticed it because I had my computer with me and set it up to get some work done. This to me is completely uncalled for and does not do much to justify the cost of my 2-night stay there. [Less]
