I have stayed three or four times at this location. Over the years it has been the perfect place to stay, however regretfully this last stay was not nearly the experience that I have had in the past.
To start with the room and the upgrade that I expected as an HIHG platinum member we’re not given to me as I expected, requested and Atold I’d have, months prior when I made the reservation. The room I was given had an awful odor of either cooking or a horribly strong body odor. We had to leave the doors open air conditioner on and window open to try and clear out the aroma. Also the couch clearly had two cushions put onto it that were not the cushions that belong to the couch, leading me to believe that someone had either stain them or taking them. Either way these we’re not the cushions for this couch. So the couch was uncomfortable as well as patched together, just so as to have one in the room. My fear is that this once great location is going to become run down very fast. I can only hope that this is not the case as it is serve me well prior to this last visit. [Less]
