First I will say that I have stayed at this hotel at least once a year for an ND football game since it opened and have had no issues except for last year at which time I said I would never go back.
(I did not review this hotel or contact management to make my concerns known after last year.) But I thought I would give it another try this year for the USC-ND game. Arrived and clerk was on the phone, which was fine. I did not hear her get off the phone and she had to ask me twice my last name. (The second time there was a bit of an attitude in her voice, but I thought she was still on the phone.) I was not recognised as a platinum member or offered the rewards of points or water. I travel a lot and stay at Holiday Inns all the time and this is the first time that this has happened. Room was what I expected, neat and clean. Saturday morning and the phone rings at 6:30am and wakes me out of dead sleep. It was my wake up call that I did NOT ask for. Day clerk was advised, very apologetic and offered me extra points when I told her I was a rewards member. As for the rest of the stay, I did not use the pool (which in the past has been quite cold for it being indoors) nor did I have the breakfast. I took my time in writing this up and decided I will give this hotel one more chance next year when I go to another ND home game. [Less]
