Friendly staff
By aptownr
I enjoy staying at the HI as it is well located for my visit to family. Always a pleasant greeting when arriving or coming into the lobby. Breakfast person does a great job in the morning and always [More] has a smile on her face while helping others. Even walking down the hall when checking out I was greeted by the staff with pleasantries. [Less]
Nice night

Good hotel staff is very friendly I would avoid if they have a lot of sports teams that particular night which is hard with a sports complex right next door. [Less]
All the amenities of a top notch hotel

Free breakfast and clean spacious rooms. This hotel has very friendly staff who made our trip very comfortable and pleasant. Great place to stay. [Less]
Great hotel
By Alissa8757
Staff was extreme friendly and the breakfast options were some of the best I've had. Despite being in upstate New York, the amenities were excellent and similar to warmer areas. Our room was spotless [More] and the hotel itself was much more than I expected for a holiday inn. Would highly recommend for business or pleasure, especially if your going skiing nearby! :-) [Less]

Staff very friendly. Hotel in great location. Mattress was not comfortable and room was not cleaned properly. Dirty q-tip in the garbage and coin on the floor. [Less]
Great accommodations near Bristol Mtn
By Freestyle ski dad
I stayed at the H.I.X. in Canandaigua during a recent trip to Bristol Mtn. The hotel was extremely clean and very well maintained. There are cheaper options out there, but I feel the value offered [More] was well worth the cost delta. Even the coffee at the complimentary full breakfast was good. I will definitely stay here again. [Less]
Excellent value

I am a Robotic service technician and basically live in a Holiday Inn Monday thru Friday. My family and I love the Holiday Inn's. I will not stay in a Hotel that is outside of the IHG group. I [More] therefore eat breakfast daily in the Express hotels. The breakfast is ok, but I find it hard to eat healthy. I would enjoy seeing things like fruit cups, apple sauce cups, breakfast bars, protein bars, individual health cereals. Even if these types of things were not on the menu for the weekends, most of the weekly clientele are business oriented. Even cream of wheat packets would be good. Anyone that spends anytime in Holiday Inn soon learns that the eggs are not the best. There just seems like there should be something else that could take the place of the eggs some mornings. The sausage gravy is very bad for blood pressure and cholesterol. You just can't eat this stuff daily. Other than that, keep up the good work.... [Less]
