There are excellent museums, great dining and a stunning array of parks and gardens for you to discover during your Holiday Inn® Rochester hotel stay.

George Eastman, the founder of Kodak, was brought up in Rochester, and his magnificent home now houses the world's oldest photography museum and is well worth a few hours of your time. Flower lovers should visit in May for the annual Lilac Festival in Highland Park when more than 1,200 lilac bushes burst into bloom. Or use your Holiday Inn Rochester hotel as the centre for a golfing holiday. Oak Hill Country Club has hosted both the PGA Championship and the Ryder Cup, and the city has been named among the best golf cities in the U.S.

The stay for the weekend was very pleasant. We were a ski group which is staying in this hotel every year, and never had any complains about facilities or the staff. [Less]

Comfortable room but poor breakfast service
By frank27
The room was nice, clean and tidy, just as shown on the website. Getting checked in was fine, a short wait but the front desk staff was intentional about getting thru the queue. Great night sleep, [More] very comfortable mattress and bedding. The only downside was the (admittedly free) breakfast buffet. The food was fine, but the service was poor. Had to ask for plates and the garbage cans were bursting by the end of the time. I mentioned this to the front desk staff who said he'd get someone right on it, and it wasn't attended to in a timely fashion (we sat for another 15 minutes finishing our meal and no one did anything about it). A few of the items were allowed to get down to nothing (breads, bagels, toppings for waffles). Before breakfast, I'd say we'd have come back. After that, it tainted the whole experience. If you don't need the free breakfast to be any great shakes, then great place to stay and a very reasonable price. [Less]
