Latest Tyler Hotel Reviews

Great staff, good food, a comfortable bed.
By Jenny
My grandson was able to use the internet without any difficulty. Their was a pool and hot tub for my relaxation. The staff got a phone number for the local Pizza deliver service, and even assisted [More] with directions in the morning for travel to our next destination. A relaxing time, good food. We will use this facility every opportunity we have. [Less]
A place for the family
By granulardust
We were looking for a hotel that was family friendly and beds more comfortable than the last places we've stayed. This was it! We paid more than we usually do but it was worth it. [Less]
Quiet and Clean Rooms
By dbright101
The room was clean, quiet and had plenty of space. I was in a King Suite and the sitting area along with the mini fridge and sink area is nice and convenient for Business travel [Less]
Comfortable quiet room.

I like Holiday Inn
By Cotton
We usually try to stay at Holiday Inn when possible and if the prices are similar. Usually the beds are really comfortable, but these weren't as much as usual. The breakfast costs $12.99. [More] Frankly, I thought that was WAY TOO MUCH. Usually, everything we get for free was there except the omelets. We can make our own waffles. Fortunately, they offered me a $5 breakfast card which was better. The staff was, as usual, professional and courteous. The facility was well maintained and attractive. We had hoped to swim but the pool, while it looked maintained, wasn't open for the season yet. [Less]
Great experience, short stay, very professional, wish they had an indoor pool/hot tub. [Less]
Good location
By Stirling Ian
Good location, clean and comfortable although, being a light sleeper, the air conditioning was quite loud during the night. Candlewood Cupboard a good idea if you want to keep costs down. Some of the [More] fittings look a bit tired and could do with replacing but, overall, good value for money. [Less]

Was in room 203 with a full size bed with 2 people The bed was about 6" from the wall so the person that slept on that side of the bed, it was a pain to get up in the middle of the night to go to [More] the bathroom. [Less]
Clean and comfortable
By IanJ52
Despite some bad reviews, my wife and I stayed here while visiting family in Tyler. We chose Candlewood for the flexibility and the opportunity to keep costs down. We found it clean and comfortable [More] but, being a light sleeper, I found the air conditioning very noisy and we had to keep it on as the temperature was in the 80's. I liked the idea of the Candlewood Cupboard and used it a few mornings for breakfast as it stocked enough for us. The staff were friendly and the location is excellent. The room itself was looking a bit tired with some of the fittings looking as if they needed to be replaced but the doors looked new. Overall. however, it was clean which is what matters. [Less]
