Because I have lived in a wide range of hotels in Sydney, I was expecting a bit better from Crowne Plaza considering the room rate I was paying. First of all, the room wasn't completely ready, there
was no dental kit. As I expected them to have, I did not carry this time. But at first I was hesitant to ask because I was not sure if they provide or not. Later when I asked, I got it. But the room service was not as warm as I expected. So, I was hesitant to ask.
The worst part was the smell in some pillow covers. They smelled awful. And when I requested for a change, the lady who was servicing the room said, "she has no idea what smell I was talking about". She changed. But one of them smelled even after that.
The best thing about this hotel is the location. I loved the beach view and the sound of the sea. I loved the balcony. I liked the service the breakfast team gave us. They were really nice and warm. I am sure I will go back to the hotel again given that they make sure the room is ready when they assign a room for me. I will expect a bit better service from the room service!
