excellent hotel, a little noisy neighbourhood
By Talulla21
The room was spacious and up to date. The neighbourhood has a street behind it with some nice bars and clubs. it was noisy at 3 am when the bars let out. [Less]

Unexpected Gem
By Mrsblue1
This hotel is right in the middle of a downtown area and is a little gem on a quiet side street but still close to the action. The secured underground parking is very comforting as well as the clean [More] and comfortable overall appearance of the hotel. It gives more the impression of a small boutique hotel. The rooms are super spacious and clean and we did not hear any noise during our stay either from inside or out. The pool was an bonus. It is crystal clear and doesn't have the heavy chlorine smell that many others have. If you have the opportunity or need to visit downtown Hamilton, this place should be first on your list! [Less]

Great Service and Excellent Staff
By Dilip
First trip to Toronto and the location was good as there was nearby mall and train terminals. Staff was very knowledgeable and guided the best way to reach every tourist destination. [Less]
Excellent staff and a very good restaurant
By Benners
An excellent 3 days at the Yorkdale Holiday Inn. Staff were extremely courteous, made our three young children very welcome. Meals were a surprising delight with an eclectic dining menu served to a [More] good standard. Definitely one of the best Holiday Inns I have ever stayed in. [Less]
Very good service
By Carly17
Stayed 3 nights .....very helpful, friendly staff. Excellent big room and very good facilities. Breakfast buffet was busy with queues.....disliked the disposable plates and cutlery. Social dinner [More] was a waste of our time.......some of our party got food before it ran out and others didn't. I wouldn't waste my time going for that again, although I think it is a very good idea. There was not enough tables and chairs for everyone either. But would recommend the hotel. [Less]
Great Stay
By sherri11
This property was one we would be happy to stay at again most definately. Easy to get to off the QEW. Staff was welcoming. Room was very clean and everything we needed. Breakfast staff was [More] superior. Well stocked breakfast options, clean and well kept area. [Less]
A Great Hotel
By JoeMamaCooksBetter
We stayed for 5 nights over the Canada Day weekend. We were prepared for a busy hotel experience, but pleasantly found the hotel, while at full capacity, to be a pleasure and a treat. The staff [More] was always cordial and attentive. Cleanliness was apparent and attention to detail as well. The room was well maintained as were the public areas. The only concern I had was the lack of parking immediate to the hotel (there was another IHG property and a large lot for a conference center, so it is not as though there was no where to park; just nowhere close). The only other issue was as a pet friendly hotel, they may want to consider holding some rooms as "pet free" for those who may not want to use a room where a pet has been using the sofa as a bed. This is a real nice property in a nice location convenient to the Go Station, the waterfront, as well as the city and Niagara Falls. [Less]
