Featured Beijing Hotels

Known as the cultural, political and educational hub of the People's Republic of China, Beijing is a modern, bustling city with seemingly endless historical attractions that make it one of the most visited cities in the world. As a guest of one of our Holiday Inn® Beijing hotels, you can uncover it all.

Spend the day at The Forbidden City, a massive 250-acre, 9,000-room palace complex that was built during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Once home to emperors, today, much of the architecture dates from the 18th century - but it's still a sight to behold.
In Southern Beijing, you'll find the centuries-old Temple of Heaven, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, once used as sacrificial altar for the Ming and Qing emperors. Of course, no visit to Beijing would be complete without gazing upon the Great Wall of China, which is divided into five sections, the most popular of which is the magnificent Badaling Great Wall. Be sure to make a stop at the largest square of its kind in the world: Tiananmen Square - home to many high-profile rallies and parades. If you're visiting one of our Beijing hotels in the spring, you'll be there when the city is in bloom. Head to the Guangdong Province, where as many as 3,000 acres of stunning flowers are waiting to greet you.

Start planning your visit to our hotels in Beijing and get ready to explore everything that makes this fascinating city so unique.

Great staff and comfortable, yet far from attractions
By rwcuiuc
This hotel has some great attributes--the staff here are great; English proficiency is excellent for Beijing, and they were very willing and eager to help me plan visits to Beijing sights via taxi or [More] otherwise. The room was comfortable, and actually, quite sizable for Beijing. Furnishings were well kept and everything worked. The welcome fruit for being a platinum member was a nice touch, even though 1/3 of the fruit was rotted. The shower and bathroom were also functional and everything worked. Westerners might be challenged to find much for breakfast, unless they are ready to indulge in congee and assorted meats (mostly fried) or corn boiled then soaked in milk. The 'grains' section had some Western friendly cereals. I'd say the breakfast wasn't so great; definitely do not expect anything carb heavy due to pastries, but also expect a lot of meat. Overall, the location of this property is OK, the staff are excellent, rooms are very good, breakfast isn't too good, but it is central to many historic sites. [Less]
