As a guest of our Holiday Inn® Rome hotels, it's easy to explore Italy's historic capital. With papal treasures, imposing ruins and baroque squares unfolding at every turn, the Eternal City is a living monument to the glory of ancient Rome.
Plunge into the city's lively streetscape from our hotels in Rome, where candy-colored Vespas zip around cobbled alleyways. The massive Colosseum is a popular spot for family photos with costumed gladiators. In the neighboring Forum, crumbling columns evoke the days of Julius Caesar. Sunlight streams through the dome of the Pantheon just as it has since the second century A.D. The Vatican beckons with two iconic artworks by Michelangelo: the Pietà statue in St. Peter's Basilica and the painted ceiling in the Sistine Chapel. The modern Metro threads its ways through archaeological ruins, delivering you to centuries-old sights like the Trevi Fountain. Toss a coin in the baroque fountain to ensure your return to Rome.
Relax into la dolce vita ("the sweet life") when you stay in our hotels in Rome. It's a short trip from our Rome hotels to Piazza Navona, the most beautiful square in the city's centro storico (historic center). Here, students, priests and jetsetters alike gather for the traditional evening passeggiata (stroll). Our Rome hotels are also near Trastevere, a medieval neighborhood humming with restaurants and bars. Try original Roman dishes like fried artichokes and spaghetti alla carbonara, rich with bacon and eggs, in alfresco cafes on narrow cobblestone alleyways.
Book our Holiday Inn Rome hotels for sublime and simple pleasures all year round. Come in spring to enjoy the city's colorful religious festivals, particularly around Holy Week. In summer, Rome's historic ruins are dramatically spotlit.
The hotel is what is to be expected of a 4 stars. Rooms are nice and large enough with good , albeit partially outdated amenities, and provide good confort. The pool is an important “plus” as it can[More] be a pleasent way to cool down after a hot day walking in Rome. The breakfast is very good.
The location however is not a very good starting point for visiting Rome. It takes you at least 35-40 minutes to be in the actual city of Rome and the way back is also not very pleasent because of the fact that you need to use a train to get to the hotel if you don’t want to spend money for a taxi, which can be pricey. The main problem is not the train which is very modern, but mainly the waiting time in the train station which can be as long as 45 minutes at certain hours, especially later in the evening.[Less]
Brilliant staff and large rooms
Helpful and friendly staff, especially in the restaurant.
Nice big room with a bath, both were really clean.
The pool was very deep but looked a bit grubby.
Overall the prices were fair considering[More] it’s a capital city[Less]
Great Airport Spot, with Easy Access to Rome City Centre
Stayed near the airport, as we were only in Rome one day before our flight back home, and it was a great choice! The hotel shuttle made it easy to get into the city centre (although it was not[More] available for all of our trips back and forth) and helped to save euros from taking (and bartering with) taxis. Hotel staff was very kind and helpful! Only regret was not having time to enjoy the pool - it looked great![Less]

Brief Rome visit
My wife and I had a brief two night visit to Rome.
This hotel was amazing, the staff exceptionally friendly and the hotel very cute.
Our room was very well decorated and upon arrival there was a[More] bottle of Prosecco to greet us.
The overall experience was amazing, thank you[Less]
