Excellent Service!
By Bridget27
We arrived mid morning and I wanted to inform reception that we would be at an event all day so would be checking in after 6pm - receptionist was extremely helpful and allowed us to actually check in [More] straight away! Room was clean and had coffee/tea making facilities - little bit disappointed in there being no hot chocolate available. Bed was a little bit springy for our liking but think that's down to individual preference to be honest. Breakfast was good - bacon and scrambled eggs freshly cooked, although I did miss not having mushrooms! Would definitely be returning to this hotel in the future as it's not let us down in the three times we've already used it for attending events in Birmingham! [Less]

Good example of an Indigo

We had a great room on the 25th floor, I understand that all rooms have floor to ceiling windows, so great views to be had. Restaurant on site is OK, Saturday evening after 10pm was a little [More] disconcerting, but hey, youngsters! (I'm mid 50's). But as is so often the case, the staff make the real difference [Less]
Very Comfortable bed and great Views
By yamyam47
Couldn't fault the room, service of hotel staff and cleanliness of the room and communal areas all were of a very high standard Very disappointed with Marco Pierre White Restaurant, Beetroot [More] starter was very bland, not enough goats cheese and a sauce would have been nice to give it some flavour. We ordered the Best sharing Steak on the Menu which was ok, but not the quality you would have expected. The fries were extremely greasy, with no potato left (obviously dunked in the fat over and over again) side salad was just a pile of Limp lettuce. Pudding were ok but nothing special. I did complain to the waitress about the Fries but it fell on deaf ears. Would defiantly stay at the hotel again, but would give the restaurant a miss although the evening entertainment was exceptional, so we would go there after (there are pleasant of place's to eat very close by) [Less]

ICH could rebrand as "Ronseal". What it says on the tin is what you get! City centre road works made getting in by car difficult and I should think that the car park is a "tough" find at the best of [More] times. Lunch buffets were excellent and the staff lovely. Considering its situation the Holiday Inn Central Birmingham is able to offer a friendly stay. [Less]
