If I could give 6 stars, I would!
My husband and I were wrapping up a two-week honeymoon and used my IHG points to nab a room before our early AM flight from LGW. We were dog tired, and I had
lost my voice due to a sinus infection. Upon check-in, we were treated with such kindness! The front desk upgraded us to a Club room, which was just lovely, and informed us about the breakfast the next morning. We settled into our sprawling suite, which even had plush robes, and really enjoyed the views from the floor-to-ceiling windows.
The most memorable thing, though. Running a 101* fever and barely even able to whisper, I went to the the bar downstairs (even though it was 15 minutes until closing time), which so kindly whipped up a Hot Toddy for me and a Guinness for my husband. They didn't charge me for the Hot Toddy, and simply told me to feel better! World-class service. Thanks for a beautiful end to our European tour! [Less]
