Featured Glasgow Hotels

City of Culture, City of Music, Capital of Sport - Glasgow goes by many names, and you need only step outside your Holiday Inn® Glasgow hotel to see why.

Scotland's largest city boasts lively streets, chalk full of unique shops, cafes and restaurants, a world-renowned music scene, beautiful parks, romantic architecture, and countless museums and art galleries.
Don't be surprised if you have to plan another trip to take it all in.

Our Glasgow hotels are always ready to welcome you.

Metropolitan Glasgow is divided into two major areas: the bohemian West End and the more commercial City Center, where you'll find Glasgow's main shopping, business and entertainment districts, as well as Medieval Merchant City, a must-see during your Glasgow hotel stay.
Despite its age, the real draw of Merchant City is its turn of the century buildings and houses, excellent examples of Glasgow's Victorian architecture.

There's upscale shopping on Ingram St., the Gallery of Modern Art in Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow Cathedral and the hauntingly beautiful Necropolis Cemetery.

Next, indulge your cultural side with a trip to the West End, home of the prestigious University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
The University area boasts an eclectic mix of eateries and boutiques and quaint tree-lined streets make it a pleasure to explore by foot.

Stop by the award-winning Ubiquitous Chip for upscale pub food, good wine, lively conversation and to see the Chip's famous mural by Glaswegian author and artist, Alasdair Gray.

Visitors to our Glasgow hotels will also appreciate the variety of family friendly activities this city offers.
The Glasgow Science Center has a science mall with over 250 interactive exhibits, an IMAX cinema, and the impressive Glasgow Tower, the tallest rotating tower in the world.

A trip to Fossil Grove in Victoria Park is well worth the trek out of the city.

There's beautiful gardens, a museum with prehistoric tree fossils and even a maze on the grounds.
Round out your Glasgow hotel stay with a traditional Scottish soccer game.
Glasgow has two professional teams, the Rangers and the Celtics, and some of the biggest stadiums in the United Kingdom.

Brilliant stay as usual. Really friendly staff, especially George on reception. Hot breakfast limited for vegetarian. Only scrambled egg and baked beans were available. Would have been good got [More] perhaps have had something like hash browns or potato scones. Also would have liked some cheese in the cold section. Minor preferences. [Less]
Good hotel but rather pricy
By Tullynesle
Good hotel, in convenient location. No problem with the room or the service or the breakfast. Didn't use the bar. Relatively expensive, but breakfast was included in the price, which is often extra. [Less]
Very comfortable bed. Very pleasant staff.

The toasting machine didn't work properly - bread under-done when put through once, burnt when out through twice, and this was with the machine turned right up. A choice of how people would like [More] their eggs cooked would be nice instead of offering only scrambled egg. Some bacon and tomatoes would be nice. It would be nice to have a small restaurant at the hotel for an evening meal. However, the bed was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. [Less]

Hotel itself is excellent friendly staff and very helpful. Room was very comfortable includes iron and ironing board, best bathbroom ever. The big issue at this hotel is parking as it is attached to [More] a retail park finding a space was very difficult especially on friday saturday night. when you register for parking you are asked to park in specific area not easy when it's already full.we drove round for 10mins looking for space on both nights For this reason and this reason only I wouldn't stay again. Business Stay
By Domboyo
I come to Hamilton for my job as a consultant and always look to book the Holiday Inn express as a priority for many reasons. Namely the service and facilities are great value for money and the hotel [More] is close to leisure services and the Virgin active gym (which being a hotel guest entitles you to a reduced rate at). The staff are always friendly and willing to help out, I.e. in booking cabs in the morning to make sure that I get to the client site on time.Overall, a great hotel to stay in for business travel.
