Featured Glasgow Hotels

City of Culture, City of Music, Capital of Sport - Glasgow goes by many names, and you need only step outside your Holiday Inn® Glasgow hotel to see why.

Scotland's largest city boasts lively streets, chalk full of unique shops, cafes and restaurants, a world-renowned music scene, beautiful parks, romantic architecture, and countless museums and art galleries.
Don't be surprised if you have to plan another trip to take it all in.

Our Glasgow hotels are always ready to welcome you.

Metropolitan Glasgow is divided into two major areas: the bohemian West End and the more commercial City Center, where you'll find Glasgow's main shopping, business and entertainment districts, as well as Medieval Merchant City, a must-see during your Glasgow hotel stay.
Despite its age, the real draw of Merchant City is its turn of the century buildings and houses, excellent examples of Glasgow's Victorian architecture.

There's upscale shopping on Ingram St., the Gallery of Modern Art in Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow Cathedral and the hauntingly beautiful Necropolis Cemetery.

Next, indulge your cultural side with a trip to the West End, home of the prestigious University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
The University area boasts an eclectic mix of eateries and boutiques and quaint tree-lined streets make it a pleasure to explore by foot.

Stop by the award-winning Ubiquitous Chip for upscale pub food, good wine, lively conversation and to see the Chip's famous mural by Glaswegian author and artist, Alasdair Gray.

Visitors to our Glasgow hotels will also appreciate the variety of family friendly activities this city offers.
The Glasgow Science Center has a science mall with over 250 interactive exhibits, an IMAX cinema, and the impressive Glasgow Tower, the tallest rotating tower in the world.

A trip to Fossil Grove in Victoria Park is well worth the trek out of the city.

There's beautiful gardens, a museum with prehistoric tree fossils and even a maze on the grounds.
Round out your Glasgow hotel stay with a traditional Scottish soccer game.
Glasgow has two professional teams, the Rangers and the Celtics, and some of the biggest stadiums in the United Kingdom.

Fantastic stay and super location
By ScooterJuly
From walking in the door, the staff were helpful all the way throughout our stay. Always smiling, really kind and wanting to ensure we had a good stay. The location is perfect - near shops, [More] restaurants etc. Room was great - everything we needed. We will be back. [Less]
first class stay at bargain bucket prices
By tuvixuk
I haave stayed in many many hotels over the years and this is one of the absolute best. I have stayed in 5 star in Turkey, Dubai, Lanzarote and USA but this was HONESTLY the most pleasant stay in a [More] long long time. We only booked to accomodate ourselves for the Pet Shop Boys concert and boy were we amazed at the quality of sleep, service, breakfast, efficiency and friendliness of the staff and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. I have to say a HUGE thank you to Steven (with a V) and Stephen (with a ph), Kerry, Mary, and all the lovely staff who made our stay as enjoyable as it was. I cannot wait to come back in the summer. Thank you all, you are wonderful. [Less]

Plus spa was superb me and mrs had hot stone and facial absolutely brilliant plus kids loved the swimming pool hard to get them out. I would like to say big thank you to management and staff at the hotel as me and family really enjoyed one of our best stays at a hotel yet 5 stars would be underating the service we were giving 2nd time round [Less]
Good Overall - Excellent Bed!
By MarkyMark45
Have stayed here many times and it is clear that the hotel has been doing some refurb work for example new corridor carpets and painting. However the lounge, restaurant and outside the hotel could do [More] with a bit or redecorating. The food overall is very good but we had a few mishaps- staff forgetting cutlery whilst hot food was going cold, orders taking excessively long times and the care and attention to detail on presentation ranging from outstanding to lacking. The staff are extremely attentive as a rule and very friendly and helpful. The pool and spa area is an added bonus although they seemed to be struggling having clean towels available. Will definitely be back and stay here again though. [Less]

Lovely hotel with fabulous river views
By Ella the poodle
Going to an event at the SSEC or Armidillo this is the place. We stayed in a Club King room and had a lovely spacious room on the 15th floor with a lovely river view. Club rooms have access to a [More] small lounge which offers refreshments during the day and wine, beer and canapés in the evening. We were going to a show and were delighted to discover we could get to the event without going outside. We also enjoyed a nice casual lunch in the bar and the breakfast was excellent. [Less]
Was excellent to start with but ended up being average
By Demi95
Check in was great reception staff were lovely, also the guy in the health suit was really friendly and chatty, changing rooms are a bit dated but we're still clean enough. Everything was excellent [More] until we went for dinner in the restaurant, the young girl with the pinky coloured hair was so professional and such a pleasure could not fault her, but once we asked for the bill and they brang our change which was a note and a few silver coins, as I had no other change I left the coins and took the note, by the time we left the restaurant and went the bar the waitress with the blonde hair walked over and slammed the coins in front of us at the bar as if to say that because it wasn't much that she did not want it, I found this really unprofessional as it was the only spare change I had and it did state that all tips were shared between staff, it made me feel quite uncomfortable and a little embarrassed even though I payed for my meal and had done nothing wrong and was only trying to be nice, because of this I will think twice before returning to the hotel as I go here to relax and like to dine in the hotel. Great atmosphere. lovely staff. 10 out 10!
By DrKiko
Very nice Crowne Plaza. One of the best I've ever been and it is better than many Intercontinental I've been in my life. The staff was very patient and helpful. Special mention to Miss Nicola who [More] helped me few times. The Priority Club Member room is available for every Priorit Club Member, not like some Crowne plaza were you have to pay extra. The room was so confortable that I had one of the best sleep in years. Defo I'll be back when I'll be in Glasgow, even if the Holiday Inn in nile street is good too. But this Crowne Plaza was 10 out of 10 [Less]
