Featured Glasgow Hotels

City of Culture, City of Music, Capital of Sport - Glasgow goes by many names, and you need only step outside your Holiday Inn® Glasgow hotel to see why.

Scotland's largest city boasts lively streets, chalk full of unique shops, cafes and restaurants, a world-renowned music scene, beautiful parks, romantic architecture, and countless museums and art galleries.
Don't be surprised if you have to plan another trip to take it all in.

Our Glasgow hotels are always ready to welcome you.

Metropolitan Glasgow is divided into two major areas: the bohemian West End and the more commercial City Center, where you'll find Glasgow's main shopping, business and entertainment districts, as well as Medieval Merchant City, a must-see during your Glasgow hotel stay.
Despite its age, the real draw of Merchant City is its turn of the century buildings and houses, excellent examples of Glasgow's Victorian architecture.

There's upscale shopping on Ingram St., the Gallery of Modern Art in Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow Cathedral and the hauntingly beautiful Necropolis Cemetery.

Next, indulge your cultural side with a trip to the West End, home of the prestigious University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
The University area boasts an eclectic mix of eateries and boutiques and quaint tree-lined streets make it a pleasure to explore by foot.

Stop by the award-winning Ubiquitous Chip for upscale pub food, good wine, lively conversation and to see the Chip's famous mural by Glaswegian author and artist, Alasdair Gray.

Visitors to our Glasgow hotels will also appreciate the variety of family friendly activities this city offers.
The Glasgow Science Center has a science mall with over 250 interactive exhibits, an IMAX cinema, and the impressive Glasgow Tower, the tallest rotating tower in the world.

A trip to Fossil Grove in Victoria Park is well worth the trek out of the city.

There's beautiful gardens, a museum with prehistoric tree fossils and even a maze on the grounds.
Round out your Glasgow hotel stay with a traditional Scottish soccer game.
Glasgow has two professional teams, the Rangers and the Celtics, and some of the biggest stadiums in the United Kingdom.

Great stay

Another of my occasional visits to this hotel, my first choice whenever I'm working in Glasgow City Centre. Executive room was very nice, my first time in one since the recent refurbishment, with [More] my only criticism being the lack of desk lamp and a fairly low wattage bulb in the nearby floor lamp that made that part of the room a bit dingy for working at the desk. Otherwise everything was great, including food and all the staff I encountered, and I look forward to returning here again at some point. [Less]
Welcoming and attentive staff.

Friendly staff, tired bathroom

Overall a comfortable stay but time IGHspeny some money on refurbushing - cracked tiles and toilet bowl with a pathetic shower, worn and stained carpet. [Less]
Quality Service
By Finnart
Given the reason behind our visit on the occasion, the staff could not have been more helpful. We had a number of bookings and a member of staff picked up on the fact that I had accidently booked a [More] room for a month rather than just for one night and then contacted me to confirm. There is a great advantage in using the hotel fairly frequently as the staff get to know you and you them. They all certainly looked after us very well this time round. [Less]
