Featured Glasgow Hotels

City of Culture, City of Music, Capital of Sport - Glasgow goes by many names, and you need only step outside your Holiday Inn® Glasgow hotel to see why.

Scotland's largest city boasts lively streets, chalk full of unique shops, cafes and restaurants, a world-renowned music scene, beautiful parks, romantic architecture, and countless museums and art galleries.
Don't be surprised if you have to plan another trip to take it all in.

Our Glasgow hotels are always ready to welcome you.

Metropolitan Glasgow is divided into two major areas: the bohemian West End and the more commercial City Center, where you'll find Glasgow's main shopping, business and entertainment districts, as well as Medieval Merchant City, a must-see during your Glasgow hotel stay.
Despite its age, the real draw of Merchant City is its turn of the century buildings and houses, excellent examples of Glasgow's Victorian architecture.

There's upscale shopping on Ingram St., the Gallery of Modern Art in Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow Cathedral and the hauntingly beautiful Necropolis Cemetery.

Next, indulge your cultural side with a trip to the West End, home of the prestigious University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
The University area boasts an eclectic mix of eateries and boutiques and quaint tree-lined streets make it a pleasure to explore by foot.

Stop by the award-winning Ubiquitous Chip for upscale pub food, good wine, lively conversation and to see the Chip's famous mural by Glaswegian author and artist, Alasdair Gray.

Visitors to our Glasgow hotels will also appreciate the variety of family friendly activities this city offers.
The Glasgow Science Center has a science mall with over 250 interactive exhibits, an IMAX cinema, and the impressive Glasgow Tower, the tallest rotating tower in the world.

A trip to Fossil Grove in Victoria Park is well worth the trek out of the city.

There's beautiful gardens, a museum with prehistoric tree fossils and even a maze on the grounds.
Round out your Glasgow hotel stay with a traditional Scottish soccer game.
Glasgow has two professional teams, the Rangers and the Celtics, and some of the biggest stadiums in the United Kingdom.

Superb location
By Davids48
The hotel is excellent (standard, location and value). The only thing to mar my review is the standard of its restaurant. Too many things went wrong and it was hit or miss. I was reassured that steps [More] were being taken to correct this. However myself and my wife enjoyed our stay. We have used this hotel for seven stays. It deserves its rating in every other respect and we thoroughly recommend it. A particular bonus is the proximity of the airport bus stop (very 10 minutes). [Less]
Comfortable Bed
By JAB1958
very good sleep. Usually wake at 0630 but woke about 0730 to 0800 therefore ending up running late for breakfast from my perspective. [Less]
Excellent staff service

Leisure break in Stirling
By Georgina66
We were due to stay in Stirling for only 4 days, but on the last day I had an accident and ended up in Falkirk Hospital with my leg in plaster! All the staff at the Holiday Inn Express, Stirling [More] went out of their way to help my husband in any way they could, which made his extended stay all the more bearable. All the staff, in our eyes, are STARS, and we'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. [Less]
Friendly Staff
By sheils6
Hotel was very nice and staff lovely and friendly. We had a view of Stirling Castle and Wallace Monument from our bedroom. Breakfast could have had more variety. The fruit was tinned peaches which [More] I don't think is a breakfast food. [Less]

Was the night before the holiday
By Almac2016
Stayed with my wife the night before our flight to Europe. Was a couple of days after the evacuation due to a nearby gas leak. Therefore outward appearance was a little bit like a bombsite. [More] Courteous reception staff checked us in quick smart and allocated room was clean and tidy. We had a meal which was satisfactory although I did think that the bar prices were on the high side. The only issue with the room was that it seems you can only lower the room temperature to 19 degrees where both of us prefer a cooler room. Breakfast was adequate though limited. Overall a good stay and one suggestion is that the outside smoking area may be relocated away from the main entrance to the hotel as walking through 5 or 6 smokers was not a pleasant experience. If this is not the authorised area then maybe it should be policed better. [Less]
