The staff pretty much know me by now, they have my room ready quickly when I get there and know me well enough to provide me extra teabags and milk if I'm there for a full weekend.
I've noticed that
the staff greet me as a Gold Member recently and they really don't have to. message to the folks who insisted the front line staff do this-they shouldn't have to, its their actions and tone when you speak with them, not some trotted out line, that makes the event. No doubt some middle manager somewhere got a bonus for coming up with that nonsense. Take it back from them, it's stupid.
If I forget my toothbrush, they always have a complimentary one spare on request. Odd that hotels in general put shampoo in the room but not toothpaste and a brush. You brush your teeth every day, you don't necessarily wash your hair every day.
Also, with regards to electrical sockets, most folks these days have a mobile which will need charging. Put a socket by the headboard.
The parking here is the only bit that lets it down. If you've got folks in for a conference or you've just got there late, then the parking will be gone. [Less]
