I spent the night at the Guin Holiday Inn while traveling home to Atlanta from Little Rock. I noticed this hotel while traveling to Little Rock, and noted that it was approximately halfway between
the two cities.
The exterior of the hotel stands out from the highway. It is on a hill, surrounded by a well-manicured property, and little else.
Upon pulling into the parking lot, I noticed a patrol car out front. The presence of the officer definitely made me feel more secure in leaving my car unattended overnight.
The lobby area was clean, bright, and airy. The staff were very pleasant and expedient, quickly filling me in on the amenities provided by this hotel.
The dining area is quite large, and features a buffet for dinner and breakfast. This makes for highly convenient dining, as there are very few options near the hotel.
The lack of any shopping or restaurants near this hotel results in a secluded, quiet haven that is ideal for relaxing and sleeping, but not much else.
The room was very clean and neat. Pillows and bedding were extremely comfortable, and the A/C easy to control for optimum sleeping temperature. The glass-enclosed shower featured appealing stonework, and the water pressure was first-class.
Overall, I greatly enjoyed my stay at this Holiday Inn, and I would definitely choose it again when traveling along US-78/I-22. [Less]
