Wonderful staff and best night of sleep in a very long time!
By Kyle1352
Staff was very helpful when it came to directions around the city! Also with any other needs I requested during my stay. The pillows and mattress were to die for and would recommend anyone to stay [More] here! [Less]
SanFrancisco treasure
By Rosemary
The Mark Hopkins hotel provides the most satisfying experience while visiting SanFrancisco. It has a touch of glamour from the past yet is completely modern with every convenience available. Staying [More] here added an extra thrill to our trip. The concierge , room service and all the staff are impeccable. [Less]
Luxury and relaxation
By Mark3170
My wife was participating in the Avon 39 walk and we wanted to stay somewhere that would be comfortable and worry free. The Intercontinental Mark Hopkins fulfilled our wishes. As an ambassador [More] member, our junior suite was upgraded to a one bedroom suite with an excellent view. The late checkout option allowed my wife to relax for a while after completing the walk and was much appreciated. [Less]
Would be nice to allow your customers to use the stairs!
By Canuck21
I was on the second floor and I would have loved to use the stairs instead of waiting 5min for the elevator. I wanted to use the stairs but the door had a sign that the alarm would go off if I was to [More] open it sooooo I turned around and waited for the slow elevator. It was annoying, too many people for 2 elevators. I asked the guy at the front desk and said the alarm wasn't going to be activated, but I was hesitant to find out, didn't want to bother other guests. [Less]
Stay for the ride
By Broome WA
Easy place to stay. Needs a laundry in house but otherwise as first time visitors to San Francisco it is in the right place. Grab a bike from next door and get riding! [Less]
Fantastic Hotel
By RoyDallas
Clean and updated facilities. The rooms were in beautiful condition and comfortable. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were top-notch. Hotel was in close proximity to many entertainment and [More] dining options. [Less]

Great hotel, great location and lots of restaurants. [Less]
Great value, nice view, good location, clean room!
By SFgirl
Our first mistake was to park before checking in - there is a stairway on the way to the elevator and our rolling bags were a pain! We made it to front desk and were treated very kindly. The room [More] was decent size, not large but comfy. I liked the furniture and the fluffy bedding. The only really bad thing, bad enough to lose a star, is the lack of blackout blinds. Our east-side room was bright by 5am - a little too early after a nice night out in SF. [Less]
Great spot west of city center
By JC01950
The hotel was nicely updated and good value compared to many hotels in SF. It was easy to get to from the highway, and the view of the city was great. [Less]
