Holiday Inn San Jose
By Laura1980
I stayed here for a solo business trip. The front desk staff couldn't be more professional and nice. The evening bartender was also very sweet but she worked alone and it took forever to get your [More] order taken and to receive food. This wasn't due to laziness or ineptness. It was because she had too much to handle, plain and simple. The drinks and food were universally overpriced, which I expect in a hotel but $10 a glass for less than mediocre Chardonnay is a bit over the top. The fitness room was clean but none of the machines functioned 100%. The tv screens on both elliptical machines weren't working at all. My room was clean but it was the smallest I've ever had at a Holiday Inn and I had no fridge or microwave even though the website advertised I would. I asked and I was told only lower floors had those amenities. That seems silly to me - the executive floors have less amenities? The internet could connection was abysmal. It barely worked at all and I wasn't able to even check my email. [Less]
