Featured Fort Myers Hotels

Stay at our Holiday Inn® hotels in Fort Myers and immerse yourself in Florida's natural attractions. Spend time on the beach or hike the trails of the Calusa Nature Center to discover an undeveloped Gulf Coast landscape.

Our hotels in Fort Myers are a short drive to Fort Myers Beach. Spend a relaxing afternoon in the sun, swimming in the calm waves or watching the brilliant colors of the sunset at dusk. Alligators make their home in the mangrove forests of the Calusa Nature Center. Wooden boardwalks lead visitors through the thick, unspoiled wetlands around the Caloosahatchee River to spot ospreys, egrets, and turtles. Thomas Edison and Henry Ford spent their winters in Florida and our Fort Myers hotels are near their sprawling vacation estates. You can see their in-ground pools-a modern marvel during their time-and their private laboratories where they tested inventions during breaks from enjoying the Florida sunshine.

It's a short drive from our hotels in Fort Myers to the fresh seafood restaurants. Gulf Coast fishermen deliver freshly-caught grouper, ahi tuna and crab to waterfront restaurants and cafés in Fort Myers Beach, where it is served up with vegetables grown in nearby central Florida. Sip a citrus cocktail and relax on a sultry Florida evening, taking in the live music scene in Fort Myers Beach and nearby Sanibel Island. The evening's musical mix is likely to range from the Beach Boys' harmonies and Jimmy Buffet's relaxed island tunes, to Jamaican steel drums and Bob Marley's reggae songs.

Book our Holiday Inn hotels in Fort Myers in February, for the art and food fairs of ArtFest in Fort Myers Beach, or in spring, when the Fort Myers Beach Shrimp Festival fills the streets with live music and vendors selling Florida's favorite shellfish.

Great Location and Hotel
By jenny18
The bed was very comfortable, and the room clean and updated. The staff helped us with any questions or concerns, and were very friendly...The location is perfect - allowing us to walk around and [More] enjoy the many restaurants and shops downtown. I would definitely return. [Less]
Nice Hotel - Valet Needs Improved and Noise Control
By seahorsebaby
We stayed in 204. Unfortunately this room faces a club that is extremely loud. So much so that you could hear the music bass noise from the shower and feel the vibration on a Friday night. The [More] hotel needs to work with the city and this club to get this under control. The music kept going until about 1 PM. Otherwise, the hotel is beautiful and would have had a peaceful sleep. There are two entrances to the hotel. This makes it confusing when valet parking if there are special events going on. Road was closed and manager had us park our own car. Annoying when you pay $18 per night for valet. When we got our car back the front desk did not tell us where to pick up our car. We waited at the front for over 25 minutes and then inquired as to where was our car? It was at the other entrance. Sitting there open. No key. We had to walk down a long hallway to hunt down the valet person. Front desk had to call him back down so more waiting. Took us over 45 minutes to get our car. Otherwise, this is a nice and beautiful hotel in a wonderful downtown location near the river, shops and dining. Beautiful city. Beautiful hotel. Friendly people. [Less]

We stayed there two nights while in Ft. Myers. Picked it because of 24 hour shuttle service. We needed to leave at 4:00 in the morning to catch our flight. [Less]

Had never used a Candlewood facility before. Found it to be a great option instead of a standard hotel. Would use again especially if I was there for a longer stay [Less]
