Our hotels in Boise are near Julia Davis Park, bordering the Downtown riverfront. Relax under weeping willow trees along the riverbank between visits to the city's best museums. A Boise Museum Pass offers a deep discount on entry to seven area museums. The Boise Art Museum on the park's edge exhibits regional artists' paintings, sculptures and pottery. Learn about Idaho's many settlers, from Native Americans to gold miners and Chinese laborers, next door at the Idaho State Historical Museum. Guests of our Boise hotels can visit the resident peregrine falcons in the World Center for Birds of Prey, where researchers raise endangered birds for release into the wild. Just south of the city, hikers can spot falcons, owls and other raptors soaring overhead in the Snake River National Conversation area.

The Grove plaza is the social center of Boise Downtown, known locally as BoDo. Families staying in our hotels in Boise can catch a summertime concert or splash in the plaza fountain with the local kids. Collect picnic-ready veggies, berries and baked goods from the Capital City Public Market nearby on summer Saturdays. Funky handbags and hand-stitched hats fill boutique windows in Old Boise near the Idaho State Capitol and around the Grove. Follow up a filling Downtown dinner of juicy, hand-cut steak with a hearty beer from a local brewery.

Stay in our Holiday Inn hotels in Boise in summer to watch world-class theater under the stars during the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, or in March to catch film premieres at the Idaho International Movie Festival.

Great stay!
By Granny Nancy
We traveled to the Boise area for the funeral of a loved one. We were in Boise during the biggest snow storm in 100 years! We did not venture outside except for the funeral, so were pretty much [More] confined to the room for two days. The staff was helpful with information, hotel amenities and even offered the use of a window scraper so we could clean the car windows when we were ready to leave. There were two restaurants within less than a block of the hotel, giving us an easy walk through the snow for dinner. Staff kept the common areas clean and mopped. There was always melting snow to be cleaned up in the reception area. We appreciate all the effort they made to make our stay clean and comfortable. [Less]
