The hotel room was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and there were enough pillows provided without me having to call and ask for extra. The breakfast was amazing - a great variety[More] and excellent flavor. Definitely not the typical stale Danish roll breakfast so often seen at hotels. What I appreciated most, however, was how.genuinely friendly and hospitable the staff was. It seemed they truly liked their job and cared about the guests. They had smiles on their faces and would often ask if I needed anything while I was in the breakfast area and the pool. I would definitely stay here again and wish there was more I could do to praise the staff for their great work. This was definitely in my top 3 hotel stays ever.[Less]
Clean, safe room and great service
I was in town visiting my daughter for the weekend. I chose to stay at Holiday Inn Express specifically because of how nice the facility is for the value along with its proximity to both where my[More] daughter lives and Indianapolis. The facility met and exceeded my expectations for customer service, the appearance of the room (cleanliness, access, etc) and overall. The staff couldn't have been nicer.[Less]

Mostly Good Experience

Generally a good stay in the Indianapolis area. It was a convenient location near HWY 31 and 146th St.
We did have an issue with the breakfast on our first morning. They had run out of cheese[More] omelets, and it took 10 minutes for the replacements to be ready. Luckily we weren't in a hurry that morning.
That night there were some loud people in our hallway past 10:00 PM, but they quieted down eventually.[Less]
Great quick stay.
Room and service was great, but food was not up to IHG standards on this particular stay. Food was obviously overcooked, burned, or very dry.[Less]
Convenient, nicely decorated, new, very convenient to restaurants, shopping and Saxony Hospital. Great, friendly service.[Less]
