Featured Shreveport Hotels

Make yourself at home in our Holiday Inn® hotels in Shreveport, along the banks of the Red River in northeastern Louisiana.

The neon-lit Texas Street Bridge spans the Red River, which connects the twin cities of Shreveport and Bossier and serves as the region's cultural lifeblood. Many of the city's prime attractions lie along the river, conveniently located near our Shreveport hotels. At Sci-Port: Louisiana's Science Center, kids can don spacesuits and land a space shuttle on the moon or thrill to an IMAX movie. Directly across the river in Bossier the stylish and sprawling Louisiana Boardwalk is the place to go for outlet shopping and outdoor cafes or simply to stroll the pretty paved walkway. In springtime, some 15,000 azaleas bloom in the gardens of the R.W. Norton Art Gallery, south of downtown Shreveport. Inside is an outstanding collection of Frederic Remington's iconic representations of the Old West; museum admission is always free.

Guests of our Shreveport hotels can take advantage of the city's split culinary landscape. Local restaurants draw inspiration from the city's proximity to eastern Texas and southern Louisiana. Satisfy your hankering for a taste of cowboy country with a juicy Texas-size steak. Or savor the flavors of the bayou with a bowl of seafood gumbo, a Cajun stew thick with shrimp, oysters and spicy sausage. Return to the riverfront around Texas and Commerce streets for rollicking nightlife close to our hotels in Shreveport, where clubs feature live zydeco music, karaoke and comedy acts. The festive atmosphere spills over to the banks of the Red River and five riverboat casinos moored nearby.

Book a stay at our Shreveport hotels in spring for live music and crawfish boils at the Mudbug Madness Festival. Visit in autumn for the Red River Revel, a showcase for regional art and music.

Great stay!
By tmac49
I travel on business quite a bit and have obtained SPIRE status through the Holiday Inn program. This hotel is on my frequent stay list. It is easily located right off the interstate which gives easy [More] access for performing my business needs while in the area. The beds are comfortable, the hotel is clean and the staff is always friendly with fresh baked cookies at check in. My only complaint is not just with this express, it's with others...the vanity in the bathroom is too tall. I am 6 feet tall and would like for them to lower the vanity so when I shave I don't have to stand on my tip toes. Other than that it is a great place to stay and I will stay there regardless. [Less]

Hotel Nice, Management Needs Improvement
By minniemommy
Everything at the hotel was great, except the way the manager treated people during check-in. He was evidently in a bad mood, and he snapped at me and others (rooms still weren't ready after 3pm [More] check in time). The rest of the staff, especially the housekeeping and breakfast crews, were very nice. Breakfast was great, and the dining area was very spacious and well-maintained. [Less]
