Good stay.

Was a good experience from check in to check out. Staff were very nice. There was a little what looked like black mold on the tiles in the shower. Other than that it was a good stay. [Less]

The location of this property in close proximity to Sesame Place and being a partner hotel when booking a package with Sesame Place made this hotel an optimal choice. We stayed here the previous year [More] as well and liked it a little less this year, but overall it was still a good value. The room wasn't as clean as I'd expect, there was clearly visible dirt on the bathroom floor and in the tub, when we unfolded the sofa to make it a bed for our toddler, there were a lot of crumbs and dirt under the cushions. The sofa was really old and creaky with a very thin mattress - glad I didn't have to sleep there, our son didn't seem to mind at all and thought it was cool to have his own bed. Our bed was quite comfy, but being so far from the A/C, I woke up several times during the night from being warm, but I didn't want to freeze out our son since the sofa bed was in between our bed and the A/C unit. The shower was great, loved the water pressure and we had plenty of towels (as well as linens and pillows). Since this hotel is near Sesame Place, there were a lot of families/kids there, which is fine, that's why we were there too, but some people sleep on different schedules and I was awoken several times before 6am by kids screaming and crying in the hallway. I was worried they would wake up my son too, but thankfully he slept through it. It would be nice if they could do something to soundproof the rooms somehow. The breakfast was typical 'free' breakfast fare and was about what you'd expect, nothing amazing but filled us up. The staff did a great job keeping everything stocked with the big crowds coming through. They got a new shuttle van from what we rode in last year, this new one was nice and air-conditioned well. The timing seemed off this year though and when you called, they didn't come as fast. I believe they were covering shifts for other hotels possibly? We rode on a shuttle for one of the other nearby hotels back to ours after dropping those guests first. It wasn't a big deal, but just seemed better last time. For the price, it was standard room/decent value, we'd most likely book here again unless one of the other nearby hotels has a better price (in the same star-rating category). [Less]

Queen suite is not worth any extra money unless you really need extra sleepers to use sofa. Extra space for living area compromised size and usability of bathroom area. Staff in food area was least [More] friendly I have had - no greetings. Mattress way too soft-needed to sleep across bed to be comfortable. High level of noise and some odor from cooling system.
