Featured Cheektowaga Hotels

Book a stay at our Cheektowaga hotels to explore the grandeur of nearby Niagara Falls and dine at the legendary Anchor Bar, birthplace of Buffalo wings, in downtown Buffalo.

Our hotels in Cheektowaga are a short drive from Niagara Falls, one of the great natural wonders of the world. Get up close to the thunderous spray on the Maid of the Mist, an open-air boat that takes you deep into the base of the falls, surrounded by towers of cascading waters. Guests return to our Cheektowaga hotels via downtown Buffalo and top off their day with a plate of hot chicken wings at the Anchor Bar, where the recipe for Buffalo wings was concocted in 1964. Order a cool beverage to soothe the heat of the legendary wings, available in five levels of spiciness.

From our Cheektowaga hotels, it's an easy 15-minute drive to Delaware Park in north Buffalo. Designed by the same landscape architect who drew up New York City's Central Park, Delaware Park contains several public gardens, an 18-hole golf course, and the child-friendly Buffalo Zoo. Kids love the zoo's newest and largest exhibit-the 18,000-square-foot Rainforest Falls habitat, complete with its own two-story waterfall. Just outside Delaware Park is the expansive Darwin Martin House Complex, one of six homes near our hotels in Cheektowaga designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Take a guided tour to learn about the architect's meticulous placement of the structure's several hundred windows.

Choose a room at our Holiday Inn® Cheektowaga hotels to get close to the region's natural and manmade wonders, from the majesty of Niagara Falls to the tranquility of Delaware Park and the fiery flavors of Buffalo wings.

Highly recommend this hotel

We travel to Buffalo to see family each year. The past 2 years we have stayed in this hotel. The staff is incredible at this hotel. As a family we love the amenities offered. The facility has a [More] warm inviting feel and the staff complete that inviting feeling. Well done! [Less]
Comfortable hotel
By OPNY
This hotel presents well from the moment you walk in the door. We were a rather late arrival and there were cookies on a tray at check-in desk. Just what we needed! Check in was easy and we were in [More] our room in minutes. The two side elevator is a bit disconcerting at first though, but we quickly got the idea. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was weird - 5 plates, 6 cups, assorted glasses. 10 knives, 2 forks, 3 spoons and a dozen steak knives. While housekeeping is generally good, the doors seems to be missed when dusting. Every one had a fair amount of dust on the indents on front and back of door. Also Maid does not refill coffee or soaps after the first day, so bring your own if you are going to be there for a bit. Everyone working in the kitchen and reception areas was both helpful and friendly. [Less]

Was pleasantly surprised with my room and the facilities. Updated machines in the gym and though the whirlpool was small, it was very clean and hot enough. Would definitely stay here again! [Less]

Maid Gone Wild
By po1046
We've stayed here before and have always had great service, food, and peace. Everything went great this time as well until there was a knock on the door shortly after 10am with the maid trying to [More] clean the room. We stayed in room 115 and had the "Do not disturb" in the doorkey slot as late as 8am when I left to go to the Bills game and advised my wife to get out by noon. The maid disregarded the Sign, knocked aggressively and advised she had to clean the room. After my wife stated she was not ready to leave, the aggressive housekeeper tried to enter the room. Lucky for my wife, the security bar was on and the door only opened a few inches. Of course, upon early checkout (10:30), the front desk advised that checkout was noon and gave us points for the trouble, making us 100% satisfied with the visit! [Less]
