option when going to Paterson area
By frequentFRAtraveler
easy access from the highway when you come from any of the NY airports and want to go to the Paterson, NJ area. Value was o.k., getting a high floor makes for a nice view over the area and is high [More] enough not to hear the traffic noise from the highway. Breakfast room is at the top floor and nice to look out the window while having breakfast [Less]
Clean. great views, and food, friendly folks.
By Slim Leroy
Liked location and style of the building, good food and views from the 12th floor restaurant, good location for access from interstates, but surprizingly quiet. [Less]

great hotel if you're willing to take the subway
By JustAnotherTraveler13
This hotel is a great option for NYC. Its clean, nice, and the staff is wonderful. Its right by the N/Q train, and not far from the E/M/R trains. If you're willing to take the subway, you can save a [More] lot of money vs staying in Manhattan. The staff let me check in early, but warned me that the room was small. The room was fine--bigger than rooms I've stayed in while in Manhattan. I'd stay here again. [Less]
Nice hotel and nice location
By OverNouT
Good hotel at a good price that was close to the subway in order to get into and back from the city without other transportation. Hotel staff were excellent. [Less]

My favorite hotel!
By TSC118
First of all, the service here is excellent!!! The staff is super friendly and professional! The rooms are spacious. The beds and pillows are so comfortable. They have coffee/tea/hot chocolate 24/7. [More] They also have an amazing breakfast selection. So many different options and all delicious. It's also a very convenient location, as I move around A LOT between NY & NJ. You have the Port Authority, the Lincoln Tunnel, and the PATH trains a short walking distance away. My boyfriend and I like to get away from home often and ever since we've come across this particular Holiday Inn Express we haven't gone anywhere else (again, mostly because the staff is awesome). They try their best to accommodate any request we have which I'm sure may be annoying because I'm pregnant but they always pull through making us feel welcome and satisfied! Best hotel ever!!! [Less]
