Featured Fayetteville Hotels

Stay at our hotels in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to explore this 18th-century Scottish settlement and sprawling 21st-century military center, home to Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base. In no time you'll be enjoying the balmy climate and lush gardens of this Coastal Plains city.

Our Fayetteville hotels are close to the free attractions at the Museum of the Cape Fear Historical Complex, a collection of artifacts and structures tracing the region's history. Look for rough-hewn Indian arrowheads and antebellum dolls inside the museum. Included in the complex are the remains of the Fayetteville Arsenal-destroyed during the Union Army's 1865 March to the Sea. Nearby is Poe House, a restored 1897 frame house with homey Victorian touches inside and out. Our hotels in Fayetteville are also close to the Airborne & Special Operations Museum, where free exhibits trace the history of the country's airborne troops and special operations forces. Stroll stone walkways past scented magnolias in the museum's Reflection Gardens. Take the family to the Fascinate-U Children's Museum, where kids can shop at the Gro-Right Grocery or run their own courtrooms in a kid-sized town.

Guests at our Fayetteville hotels can relax in the grounds of the 72-acre Cape Fear Botanical Gardens. Set on the bluffs of the Cape Fear river, the gardens have woodlands trails dotted with azaleas and a Heritage Garden with a restored farmhouse. Browse downtown's Maxwell Street for gifts, original art and antiques. Our hotels in Fayetteville are also close to local dining institutions like Cape Fear BBQ, where you can sample pulled-pork sandwiches and fried chicken.

Book your room in our Holiday Inn® Fayetteville hotels for year-round festivities. Celebrate the annual Dogwood Festival each spring, or the free concerts in Festival Park on the third Thursday of each month, May through October.

Great Stay!
By Susan T
We accidentally booked a room at a nearby Holiday Inn Express thinking it was pet friendly and found out the hard way it was not. After a long day on the road, we needed to stop for the night. The [More] other property recommended Holiday Inn Fayetteville and I immediately got online and made a reservation. Check-in was a breeze and staff was nice. The pet fee is lower than many competitors. We were given a great room in the back of the hotel near an Exit and the Pet Exercise area. The room was unique because it had tasteful tile with throw-rugs. This seemed very smart to me as a way to accommodate pets. My dog is not very heat tolerant so the tile was a double bonus for us in July! We were also pleased to have a restaurant on-site. The appearance of the restaurant is rather unremarkable but staff is welcoming and friendly. The menu was rather limited but had all of the basics. Our food came out at proper temperature and was presented nicer than many restaurants I have been to. Our waitress, Neicey, found out our daughter likes Amy Winehouse so she serenaded her with a chorus of one of Amy's songs. The breakfast staff also very welcoming and efficient so Neicey was not a "fluke". We make the trip from VA to FL multiple times a year and will definitely stay in our new favorite hotel in Fayetteville next time! [Less]
