Good hotel and value
By noname
Good hotel. One of the wings still smells a little like smoke, I'm assuming from when it was still allowed. One of the front desk staff members in the evening is less than pleasant. Seemed quite [More] annoyed that I interrupted his movie watching when I checked in. I'm sure it's quite boring at night but if you can't have a pleasant attitude when someone is checking in then get a job that isn't in customer service. Aside from that everything is great. The hotel bar has good food and great bartenders. [Less]
Clean facility!!
By Sharon K
I was pleasantly surprised at the renovations and cleanliness of this hotel! I loved the fact that they were pet friendly! Very convenient. The parking lot was packed every night, with a high [More] number of contractor vehicles. I was very pleasantly surprised at the 'lack of' noise based on this. The Room and bathroom was VERY clean with updated colors/decorating. The temperature of the guest room was a bit stuffy. We had the fan on high and the temp as low as it could go and it still felt stuffy. The only complaint I had was of the bed pillows. They were all of a down type material and no support for your head/neck. And for someone like myself with neck/back issues, there was no support. Other than that it was a great experience. If ever on a trip for business in this area again, I will be back! [Less]
My go to choice in the Lansdale/Quakertown area
By Joshua911
As Holiday Inn is an older property, that has generally been kept up to date but still serves local community for events both business and family.. It's always been very clean, and very welcoming. [More] On my last visit I noticed they changed their menu quite a bit which surprised me because me and my colleagues always appreciated the diversity of the menu. The dining and lounge staff are very good. My room was very clean and comfortable, although I would guess it's due for a freshening: some scuffed furniture, bathroom fixtures need to be recaulked, and the office chair at the desk was inoperable. These are just minor observations, not really complaints. There are alternatives in the area, but I will still choose the Holiday Inn Lansdale over anyone else. [Less]
Excellent value and convenient location

Breakfast buffet is excellent and provides healthy options. Staff is friendly and courteous. [Less]
Passing through
By Brendaj527
Room was great. Breakfast was great. Had 5 of us staying, which was listed on reservation. 2adults and 3kids. Needed to use fold-out couch bed. Mattress cover on that was stained. Also only had [More] towels enough for 3 people, not 5. Hotel sent more towels and blankets up to room. All good then. [Less]
Great service

I have to say this is one of my favorite stays. Staff was great on every level. Could not have been any better. Enjoyed the gym. [Less]
Holiday Inn Express stay very good
By Patricia
Our Holiday Inn Express stay was very good. We stay at this chain of hotels most of the time where available. We are members of the club and enjoy points earned. This hotel was on our way south and [More] our stay worked out very well. [Less]
Good people, routine facility
By 101845
The staff at the inn was generally excellent: efficient help from the front desk, quality work in the breakfast room, excellent housekeeping services. I hate Holiday Inn pillows -- everywhere I [More] stay, they're squishy and uncomfortable. A pillow upgrade should be a top priority. The West Chester inn was adequate for my purposes: no frills, neat and clean, no unpleasant surprises. My only major complaint: the heater/air-conditioner -- very loud, with frequent cycling on and off. The room temperature was appropriate, but the noise was disturbing. [Less]
Family Business stay
By Giggleholly
Second time we stayed there as needed to go to Chester County Courthouse on custody issues. It is a nice hotel - convenient to West Chester and near many restaurants, etc. Staff is helpful. Only [More] issues are: a bit noisy as on the highway; A/C is not easily adjusted; breakfast was only fair. If you can't drink milk and want cereal, no almond or lactose free is available. Food choices were not that good. [Less]
