Or head for the beautiful campus at Clemson University, where you can meander woodland paths in the 295-acre South Carolina Botanical Garden, brightened with sprays of azaleas in the spring. Our Anderson hotels are also close to Split Creek Farm, a working dairy farm where visitors can pet the resident goat herd. Swim, play or boat on the placid waters of nearby Lake Hartwell.

Head out from our hotels in Anderson to stroll past downtown's beautifully preserved turn-of-the-century architecture. Downtown Anderson is home to charming shops and eateries. Browse Main Street's antique shops and art galleries or grab a bite at a traditional Southern restaurant or modern cafe. Our Anderson hotels are also a short drive from the South's biggest flea market at the Anderson Jockey Lot, open Saturdays and Sundays.

We were there for Baseball, the hotel was clean and the staff were great. The ceiling are a little thin so if kids are bouncing off beds or running back and forth you can hear it. [Less]

Travel to raft the Chatooga
By Family
The travel time to whitewater raft the Chatooga river is about 45 min to 1 hour from this hotel. From Florida we were looking for a place to stay over till the next day to get an early start. This [More] hotel worked out perfectly. It is a nice drive up from 95 by Savannah on 16 and through the back country instead of going through Atlanta. The roads were realy nice and pleasant to view the landscapes and mountains. The hotel is every bit of what we expect from HI Express. [Less]
