Good price
By Knich
For the price, this is a good place. The neighborhood isn't the greatest, and the rooms and lobby could use an upgrade, but they are clean and the staff is great. If you're looking for a decent place [More] for not a ton of money, this fits the bill. [Less]
Great Traditional Downtown Hotel in a Great Location
By Peter921
This is an older hotel, but very well located near the West End in downtown Dallas. The room was clean, cool, well appointed, and comfortable. The bathroom was lighted and had a hair dryer and a [More] magnifying mirror. The outlets in the room were adequate to plug in my laptop and CPAP. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. I would not hesitate staying here again. [Less]
Excellent Place to Stay Downtown Dallas

A great welcome!!
By Vahlle
The Dallas Southwest-Cedar Hill Holiday has a great surprise waiting for you. If you are welcomed by Jacoby be prepared to feel like a VIP. He treats hotel patrons as though he owns the place by [More] providing the warmest welcome while still being very discreet about personal information. This is something that I pay attention to and he was very, very good at his job. After flights and dragging luggage and figuring out directions you want to be able to relax in the place that you are staying. I was very pleasantly surprised by the sincerity of his welcome and his knowledge of the area. He was an excellent concierge. I will make it a point to stay there again when I visit just before Christmas. [Less]
Convenient and a good experience
This location was easy to find, priced well, and gave me no surprises other than an unexpected (and free) upgrade to a 2-Queen from what I had originally booked. If you are going to Cedar Hill, stay [More] here. [Less]
Business Adventure

Great Experience!
By MLBCOACH
I have stayed at this property before and enjoyed it then. It is a very convenient location for my business in the area and that is one of the main reasons I chose it this time. However, the customer [More] service experience was exceptional from the moment I walked into the hotel! I was a little too early and the rooms were not quite ready, so the front desk clerk, was quick to apologize, upgraded me to a suite and even provided me with a coupon for a free appetizer at one of the local restaurants. I wish I had gotten the lady's name, but I'm sure you will know who she is based on this review. I travel almost weekly and have Platinum Elite Status with IHG and have seen all spectrums from great to not so great, and must say this was one of the best! [Less]
