Great staff. Very helpful. We were needing a hotel late at night on the way to Corpus Christi. Staff made us feel very welcome. They made accommodations for my special needs. [Less]

Comfy

I accidentally booked at the Alvarado location thinking it was closer to Dallas. I get nervous about staying in hotels so picking Holiday Inns with a good rating usually works. Im thinking the [More] Alvarado location probably has a high rating. I slept well! My husband said the pillows were too bulky for him. The staff was really nice. [Less]
Exceeded all my needs
By Carbeep
This was my first time staying in a Candlewood suite. The hotel was selected for me by my company. I typically expect a minifridge that hardly keeps leftovers cool overnight with no way to reheat, [More] but this room had a full fridge and two burner stove top. Since I stayed a few nights, I went to the grocery to pick up food for the room instead of eating at restaurants. [Less]
Clean and very adequate

By Peter's Travel evals
Very nice hotel. Renovations others mentioned were not a problem. They seem to be finished on one whole side of the hotel and I was not bothered by work being done in the other wing which was closed [More] off from the public. Very nice hot breakfast buffet with eggs, sausage, cereal, etc. Great indoor pool. [Less]
Solid Property
By JD Barrelhouse Guy
This is a solid hotel that is close to good local dining and is easy access to the highway. Once they recieve their liquor license, it will only add to the value of this property. [Less]
