Featured Beaumont Hotels

Enjoy a warm Texas welcome at our hotels in Beaumont. Learn how the Spindeltop gusher made southeast Texas famous, explore the rivers and swamps of Big Thicket National Preserve and dig into a steaming plate of Cajun crawfish.

Our Beaumont hotels are near the Spindletop Gladys City Boomtown Museum. On 10 January, 1901 oil prospectors struck liquid gold here, setting off a 100-foot gusher that changed this sleepy Texas town forever. A replica derrick today blows water high over the green plains. Learn the science of how oil gets from the ground and into your car as gasoline at the Texas Energy Museum. Kids can don firemen's hats and suits before climbing behind the wheel of a fire engine at the Fire Museum of Texas downtown, or spot gators slumbering in the swamps in Gator Country just south of town.

Plenty of local steakhouses plate up thick cuts of Texas sirloin and tangy barbecue pork ribs, but guests of our Beaumont hotels will also find Cajun restaurants serving the cuisine of neighboring Louisiana. Don't be shy about using your fingers to crack into crawfish, boiled Cajun-style with sausage, onions, and spices. Beaumont's social center is the Crockett Street Entertainment District, where restaurants, bars and dancehalls fill a cluster of turn-of-the-century red brick buildings a short drive from our hotels in Beaumont. Pull on your dancing shoes to practice your two-step at the Dixie Dance Hall or pull up a stool at a sports bar to watch your favorite games on the big screen with an icy pint of beer in hand.

Book a room in our Holiday Inn® hotels in Beaumont in spring, when bird watching is at its peak at the Big Thicket National Preserve. Visit in early fall when wildflowers bloom yellow and white along the reserve's trails.

Great Hotel Around the Area
By Drm112865
I stay here quite often. Nice hotel in good location. The employees are nice and the rooms are good. Close to the chemical plants, and lots of places to eat in the area. [Less]

Staff was very attentive and professional. Now I am just rambling on because you asked for my opinion but you put restrictions/requirements on my review. [Less]

Lack of emergency lighting
By Captain5125
I was very disappointed that, in the 21st century, a hotel would go totally dark when there was a power outage. No emergency lights and no members of staff at the front desk. Very POOR. [Less]
Great place to stay
By Caramelman
A very helpful staff. My only complaint is that on both mornings of my stay I requested breakfast delivered to my room. Neither day it was delivered. The reason was very obvious, I was in a corner [More] room and my breakfast tag was not visible. [Less]
Great Stafff
By Seminar Participant
The staff was friendly and very helpful with the exception of the night clerk that I encountered during check in. The facilities are adequate and there appears an effort being made to keep the aging [More] facility looking fresh however it could be better. I would have liked to try the hot tub but the pool area closed a little too early. [Less]
