Date of stay: June 30th through July 4th
Room floor: 2nd floor
Per my title, I have stayed at this location many, many times and each time I walk away feeling valued and appreciated for my
stay. The staff makes you feel comfortable and like you're staying with family/friends. They greet you as you enter and leave the premises. Nice personal touch by the front desk staff.
Since I have reviewed this hotel several times with plenty of photos I am going to provide a quick overview of my stay. Feel free to visit previous posts for a much more detailed view of this hotel.
Here are some pro's and con's of my stay:
Pro's: Great value, hotel location, hotel room/grounds cleanliness, sense of security (person patrolling grounds at night), vending machine and washer/dryer on every floor.
Con's: Bathroom towels, pillows and comforter need to be updated in my room. The soft pillows weren't as soft as the ones during my previous stays and the comforter seemed a bit worn. The bathroom towels weren't as plush as they typically are.
I requested a room on a "high floor" and was placed on the 2nd floor. I specifically ask for a high floor because I want to offset any noise from the room above. Thankfully this was not an issue during my stay. But during my last night there were kids running up and down the hallway during the day. I can tolerate this type of noise during the day, but not after midnight.
I am a Gold card member and requested a late check out. Per the terms and conditions I should be offered a late check out up to 2 to 3pm when contacting the front desk. When I requested the "latest check out possible" the female at the front desk responded with, "how about 1pm?" Thankfully we settled on 2pm and i was able to get a few more hours of sleep.
The two issues notated above might be easily overlooked by other guests. I however frequent this location on a monthly basis and hold this hotel to some hight standards. I want to keep encouraging them to be one of the best Holiday Inn's that I have and continue to stay at. [Less]
