Featured Salt Lake City Hotels

Book a room in our Holiday Inn® hotels in Salt Lake City and discover Utah's great outdoors. Head to the Great Salt Lake with its crystalline salt formations, or schuss through fresh powder at a Wasatch Mountain ski resort.

Our hotels in Salt Lake City put you near the best of northern Utah. The beating heart of the Mormon Church is downtown's Temple Square. Head to the 6,500-seat Tabernacle for free organ recitals and concerts by the world-famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Take in the sweeping Salt Lake Valley from This is the Place Heritage Park. The snow-capped Wasatch Mountains and briny Great Salt Lake are as mesmerizing now as they were in 1847, when Brigham Young and his pioneers settled here. Our Salt Lake City hotels are near the Family History Library, where genealogists pore over the world's largest family tree, dating from 1550.

The treasures of the Wasatch Mountains are tantalizingly close to Our Salt Lake City hotels. In summer, mountain bikers and hikers follow wildflower-dotted trails through the rugged gorges of Big Cottonwood Canyon. Skiers carve up more than 500 inches of feather-light powder at Utah's best ski resorts, Alta and Snowbird. The Great Salt Lake lies near our hotels in Salt Lake City, with exotic salt formations clustered on the shore and kayaks bobbing across the brine. Antelope Island, in the center of the lake, is populated today by a roaming bison herd and migratory birds, looking much like it did when Brigham Young arrived.

Book a stay at our Holiday Inn hotels in Salt Lake City in summer, when paddling on the Great Salt Lake is at its best, or in winter, when you can snowboard your way through a foot of new-fallen snow at Alta and Snowbird resorts.

Perfect stay for our business visit in South Jordan
By Keroro7788
Spacious room with well stocked amenities. We forgot toothpaste and the front desk was quick to bring us up a tube. The beds were comfortable with firm and soft pillow options. Room comes with a [More] Keurig, microwave, refrigerator (that isn't packed with unnecessary drinks or snacks). Parking was abundant while we were visiting. When we were told that the breakfast was off of a menu I was honestly just expecting microwaved items, cereal, yogurt and such. But I was very wrong. I ordered a Florentine Benedict and it was very delicious. The hollandaise sauce was fresh and well made. Orange juice had pulp! My sister ordered a stack of waffles that were all freshly made as well. The staff was extremely attentive to our needs. I read that the hotel was recently renovated and I highly recommend this hotel. Unfortunately we were able to check out the pool or exercise area due to time constraints but we liked what we saw. A lot of older reviews complain of construction but all of that was already completed at the time of our visit in Feburary of 2017. [Less]
Newly renovated hotel
By Scottie
The hotel looks as though it was just finishing up from a remodeling project. The meeting room that our meeting was held in, was still being carpeted the day our meeting started. The pool and spa [More] area was completely torn up. It sits right next to train tracks, so if you not used to train noise, might not be a good choice. [Less]

Called front desk on top of finding forgotten items and had them available at the front desk. [Less]
Excellent motel
By ink51
We have stayed at this motel several times and each time it is so very nice. We really enjoy the location and the no smoking and no animal policy is wonderful. The staff is always very friendly and [More] helpful. Our stays lately are for medical appt. and that doesn't show on the survey for reasons for our visits. [Less]
Comfortable in a great location

Great Value for Skiing
By Sarah
We chose this hotel because they offered a package that included ski lift tickets which seemed to be a great deal considering the price you would pay at any resort for just lift tickets alone. The [More] hotel seemed to be in a good location about 30 miles from the slopes and there were plenty of nearby restaurants in the area. Staff was friendly and the hotel was extremely clean. The only thing I wish this hotel had was an indoor pool and hot tub, but instead the only pool was outdoors. This might be alright for most people, however if travelling with the family and kids want to go swimming without adults, it would be too cold to supervise from outdoors while kids could swim. Otherwise we had a very comfortable stay and the hot breakfast buffet is much better than most other hotels who offer complimentary breakfast. [Less]
Felt better than home!!!
By Cumorah1022
This hotel was amazing and was so awesome to stay at. We live in Utah, right down the street from this hotel actually, and just needed a get-a-way and we got it! It smelled amazing and the room was [More] so spacious and comfortable. It isn't very often that there is a hot tub and swimming pool heated, outside, and open year round. So that was nice because my boyfriend loves pools even when it's raining outside. The breakfast in the morning was so good! The waffles were delicious and the eggs didn't taste like plastic, they tasted amazing. (like some hotels will use gross eggs). I have stayed at many hotels around the world and this one impressed me. I travel so much and so I know what to expect and this hotel exceeded my expectations. We stayed at the Staybridge in Anaheim right next to Disneyland and that one is also amazing! So if you ever go over there, definitely make this your hotel! Thanks Staybridge for the amazing experience. We will definitely come back again for our next staycation. [Less]
