I typically book hotels with quite a bit of trepidation. What if it's awful? This choice was no different. I was pleasantly surprised. For what we paid, I think it was a good value. We were upgraded
to a "suite". Bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was decent - it came free with the room, so that increases my tolerance for mediocrity. The highlight of breakfast was the pancake conveyor belt machine. Except for the mechanical issue of the nozzle clogging up on a regular basis, this was a fun little machine. The woman in charge of breakfast was super nice and kept things stocked.
Only complaint is the staff and guests smoke directly outside the lobby door. Gross.
A note about location....I did not realize that "Chesapeake" was so large. The warehouse I needed to visit was about half hour away during rush hour traffic. That wouldn't prevent me from staying here, I should have mapped that out ahead of time. [Less]
