Featured Williamsburg Hotels

The spirited sounds of fife-and-drum bring 18th-century America to life in Colonial Williamsburg, a meticulously restored and re-created Revolutionary War city. Our Holiday Inn® Williamsburg hotels are close to the colonial Virginia capital as well as Busch Gardens amusement park and the Yorktown Battlefield.

The streets of this living-history museum bustle with the business of 18th-century life. In the 300-acre Historic Area, you'll rub shoulders with men in powdered wigs and ladies in colonial garb as horse-drawn carriages clip-clop by. Iron is forged the 200-year-old way at the Blacksmith Shop and books are crafted in painstaking colonial fashion at the Printing Office. At the end of Duke of Gloucester Street, the reconstructed Capitol is topped with a Union Flag, while formal gardens of clipped topiary surround the elegant Governor's Palace. Entry to Colonial Williamsburg is free for children 5 and under, and youths 6-17 get discounted passes. Or treat the whole family to an afternoon of 21st-century rides at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. From our Williamsburg hotels, it's easy to visit Jamestown, the first permanent English settlement in America, and the Yorktown Battlefield-where George Washington slept in a tent now displayed under hermetically sealed glass.

Dine in the candlelit ambience of a restored colonial tavern. At Kings Arms, Chownings or Shields taverns, you can enjoy the same hearty foods that sustained the founding fathers. Savor meat pies or braised venison, washed down with a tankard of ale. Stay at our Williamsburg hotels and bring history home with you, from reproduction jewelry to heirloom seeds from the colonial nursery. Or hit the city's numerous outlet shops for 21st-century bargains.

You don't need a time machine to relive the past. Just book a stay in our Williamsburg hotels and hit the cobblestoned streets for a thrilling journey to colonial America.

First time at Staybridge
By mkt54
I was very pleased with my stay. I only have two minor issues, and I stress that they were very minor. First, I was not greeted immediately when I arrived at the desk. The receptionist left a bell to [More] ring because she was on the phone in an office out of my view. I really dislike ringing those bells. However, I only had to wait a minute or two, and when she came out she was very friendly. Second, the air-conditioning fan was a little louder than wanted. I don't usually sleep well with "white noise", although I understand some people like it. I was able to select a lower fan speed but I would have preferred to shut it off completely. Regardless, even if had been able to shut it off I don't normally sleep well the first night in a hotel. Had I stayed a second night, I would have asked the hotel staff to turn it off for me. [Less]

Outstanding Time Share
By Love Our Time Share
Our family stayed at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Williamsburg Resort in a three bedroom villa unit as an exchange for our Time Share in Orange Lake, Kissimmee, FL, ... and then another one bedroom [More] villa via the IHG. Our accommodations were superb - the best we have ever had in a Time Share. This resort was about 15 minutes from Colonial Williamsburg, and Jamestown, as well. We had a wonderful family time visiting these great historical locations, as well as enjoying the amenities on the Resort campus. The bowling alley, miniature golf, and playground were favorites. We would definitely recommend this Time Share. [Less]

Top rate experience.
By Sanne58
We recently stayed in a suite at this property and found that it exceeded expectations. Having stayed in many suites on business, this was one of the best and defiantly the best valued I have stayed [More] in. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The breakfast area was well stocked and staffed. The pool was well maintained and very nice. A little ways out of town but absolutely worth it. [Less]
